I can run over a mile on the treadmill without stopping but as soon as I started outside I couldn't even run 2 mins. My husband had me try something new. I also just bought the Brooks Ghost 5 and love them. I would go to a running store and be fitted just like everyone is saying. I didnt when I first started running and omg my feet were killing me. Good luck!

Shock your body! Over eat one day or skip dinner then breakfast the next day. But start drinking more water.Also if your sugar is from alot of fruit really cut your fruit back I had to. I was doing the same thing and finally just shocked my body and lost. Good luck and don't give up!!

I quit smoking Nov 6th, 2011 cold turkey. I did put on 18 pounds and yes it is harder to get it off but let me tell you I feel so much better. I can now run and do a hard hour workout without feeling like my lungs are going to give. The allen carr book is great. Good luck if you need support please feel free to add me.

I have this book Allan Carr's book "The Easyway to Quit Smoking on my kindle. If you have a kindle I will loan the book to you. GREAT BOOK. I quit 5 1/2 months ago and feel wonderful but I really feel tath you have to be ready and want it too.

I know how you are feeling. Started working with a trainer 6 weeks ago and have lost 9 1/2 inches in six weeks but the scale in 9 weeks has only went down 7 pounds. I keep just telling myself that every bit is worth it and keep going. Congrats on losing inches.

I would say get a HRM I bought the timex hrm and I love it. I workout with a trainer and had no clue how many calorie I was burning. When I used the HRM for the first time with the trainer I was burning more calorie then I even thought but everytime is different all depends on how high your heart rate is getting. Good Luck!

I would try just lifting some weights anything to get your heart rate up should work. Just remember this is just a little bump in the road so if you can't do anything for 5 days just watch what you are eating and start running or walking again when you are better. Hope you great better soon!
