40 pounds will be difficult to lose in 12 weeks, but anything is possible. You may want to consider losing 30 pounds then going for the other 10 later. The choice is yours. We can do anything we set our minds to, I just don't want anyone losing an unhealthy weight. Good luck!!!

It's gonna be tough, joining so late. You may wanna reconsider your goals. Losing 40 pounds in 12 weeks is difficult, and I don't want you losing an un healthy wieght so, please take that into consideration. If you really wanna do it, though, go for it!

What I usually do is drink two slim-fast shakes per day, eat 3 snacks and have a decent meal every evening and I've lost 19 # so far but everyone is different. Well, Sweetie, it takes calories to burn calories. The more calories you intake, the more energy you have to burn. There are monthly challenges that are going on. I am on them too. You dont have to be in just one challenge. The more challenges, the more motivation.....just be careful not to take on more than you can handle :) good luck!
