I have only ever used brown rice (other than Red Camargue which is awesome) for years. Sometimes I make a hot breakfast using brown rice. Cook as normal in my rice cooker - then I add a couple of tablespoons of Elmlea single light (low fat diet cream alternative), granulated sweetener, and either raisins or chopped dates.…

I am 5'5" - my target weight is 135 - 140lbs - When I was you younger - I was a curvy 112lbs - So maybe somewhere in between - dont go under 110lb - not healthy and it wont look pretty. Perhaps a slow loss of ten lbs or so added to toning up will work best for you. Keep us posted!

My husband has been tremendous support. During the time when I gained weight but had quit smoking, he stopped me from being so hard on myself. Now that I am a 100% smoke free (over 18 months now) - he is helping me with my weight loss goals. He has been treating me to equipment - making me take time out during the day (we…

I bought the flex. I spend a LOT of time sitting -…

I am a Food Producer (top end luxury items) - I always believed that people need to get back into the kitchen, and learn to cook. I was having this rant one day during an interview with a journalist. Later that week, she tweeted me with a challenge. "Put your money where your mouth is Mrs xxxx". It was the "Live below the…

Actually - my husband did suggest to me yesterday - to give this one month, and if I dont see the results I want - to try 2 days on Total Food Replacement (which is 400-600cals) and five days on this plan. He knows zero about diets - and had no idea what he was suggesting was in fact, similar to a 5:2 diet. I will see how…
