Did you say it is bad...or did I?!? Wait. Did anyone? OMG....can there a page of agreement on MFP?!!?!??

Shula steakhouse? What is wrong with 5 pounds of beef? Or is it 4?!? (I'm kidding)

The only Imperial I know is butter...the whole measuring in this or that throws me once in a while. A stone is 14 pounds....stuff like that. Okay, so at 2,200 calories being consumed you are losing about a pound a week. So, roughly 9 weeks. This assumes this scale works and you continue your walking. A little resistance on…

I'm curious, how many ketones are produced by your body versus my body? I consume an average of 40% of may MACROS as carbs. Maintenance is around 2500-2800 calories. So, bad math is 250 grams. In terms of carbs I consume 5 to 10 times what you consume(if you are consuming 20 to 50 grams). Do you have quite a bit more…

So, this is interesting. Last week a neighbor and I were discussing a farm over the hill. Grass fed cattle. We can order down to a 1/16 of the critter. So is it fair to say less fat, more lean beef? I can check with the owner about their consumption in terms of corn. They are in the fields 'grazing' every day so IDK how…

Because it is important in the context of what you are attempting. I'm not sure the OP is going to care. My math is all English(American) I can't Australian well but the kilos looks like 10 miles. So, could fitbit be 'a little high'? Again, I'm not saying impossible. It is a boatload of work. Do you this 1 day a week or…

So, because you are within 10 pounds of goal......BMR for a 43YO female, 149 pounds, 32% BF(sorry had to guess), 5 foot 8 inches, is 1340. So, if BMR is 1340 and your TDEE is hovering around 2600 you must be doing a great deal of activity. 2 hours of brisk walking at 150 pounds(flat and firm surface 3.5 mph) you'd burn 600…

Since I referenced registered diabetic specialists I cannot answer for all of them about being completely unaware of the actual science and the details. I find it unsettling how you have one interaction with a nurse and paint a whole group of people lacking knowledge. A RDS has to maintain so many credit hours per year…

The back and forth in this thread is leading me to believe of the stickie potential. Awesome stuff.

If someone mentioned rolled oats and legumes then ignore this post. Otherwise, rolled oats and legumes. Anyone? Bueller?

A lot of good information here OP. With 20,000 + users in LC group maybe a list of just 20 who follow this advice would be helpful for the OP for ideas and how to improve their diet. I have a hard time finding folks in the group who adhere to even half of these recommendations so it would probably benefit other folks in…

I think it is pretty cool science can stop and be reversed. Someone stops losing weight at 1500 calories but changes nothing and increases their calorie up to 67% above maintenance and not gain weight, all while not exercising. This is unreal.

Thanks. Now all I can envision is cookies. Soft, warm, gooey...chocolate pieces melting in my hand. Why eat six when you can eat more?!? Self control where art thou?!? Okay, seriously. I don't need it. I can take a Boston Cream Donut, perform a donutectomy on it, let it sit for a whole day and then throw it out.

Okay, bucket list. Take a bottle and walk aimlessly around HB. Got it.

I...um......what was the question. Buggity. Just..... o:)

So, #5 in the chart above? makes sense then. The chart that is.

OP--you may want to find a registered diabetic specialist to understand a range of high and low as long as the average is say 100 and being at 100 really isn't going to negatively impact your day. More then a few T2 diabetics rely on both their doc and a register diabetic specialist to understand their fluctuations post…

OP--after a workout what do you typically eat? Do you have a shake by any chance? If so, what are the ingredients in a shake you'd consume?

ding ding ding...we have a winner.

Sand consistency depends on location. Delaware sand typically has a significant amount of silicate which allows for compactness. Virginia Beach sand is more like refined sugar. Huntington Beach sand is like powdered sugar. So, depending on weather conditions, air speed, and if volleyball is involved the best way to…

More important....did you have a beer?
