No point in being down in the dumps about it. Youre doing what you need to do and thats great! Diabetes isnt the death sentence it used to be. You can control it with diet and exercise so remember that every time you get down about it. :)

Land End makes cute swim skirts. They are longer than your average swim skirts so you will feel totally comfortable. I get their tops too because they have great ones with underwire for support. Some are a bit pricey but they do have good sales. I always get mine on ebay :)

Hello. I was diagnosed with PCOS 25 years ago (yikes that made me feel old ;) I was diagnosed with diabetes about 7 years ago and started taking metformin. This totally. I was wearing a too small of shoe and I was getting bad shin splints. When you get fitted dont feel obligated to buy shoes fromt he running store they tend to be a bit pricey. I got a pair somewhere else for 50 bucks...WOOT! :) Good luck!
