Well done, you stuck it out! Weight does not go on in a day and sometimes its a long haul to take it back off. You look amazing and this is very inspirational.

Just saw you user name, do you quilt? On the victuals, no need to burn yourself out, slow and steady not only wins the race but builds confidence, stamina and anticipation for what's to come.
-
Thats alot of miles, and really awesome! So fun to do it with someone too.
-
That sounds like so much fun! Maybe you could post a pic of the medal if you received one.

I will have to look those up. Good for you, staying active in these times is sometimes hard. Its awesome that you are working on multiple goals at the same time.
-
Big goals! So fantastic

Anyone still doing virtual races, walks, runs, biking? I am still virtual. Tell me what you are doing these days.

For me, as soon as I break the pattern of healthy eating, intermittent fasting or anything else for that matter, I am off in a completely different direction! I have to stand firm and stay the course. Penguinmama has an amazing way of looking at it and hopefully I can draw from that and get to the point Sir-gentle-hulk is…

That is fantastic, you are well on your way! Please keep posting, this is really motivating.

Malted Tea and I agree, the next best thing to holding that hard copy and turning the pages is the audio book. I have an Audible account and love it. There is nothing like turning actual pages but multi tasking isn't always doing what feels good. Congrats on your journey so far, you are doing great

Hey Everyone, I am trying intermittent fasting for the first time. 16/8 method but sometimes it stretches a bit longer. It seems to agree with me so far and hasn't been hard at all. I hope you all have a fabulous holiday weekend. Be kind to yourself Susan

61 Here! I need to play with friends my own age, LOL. Add me to your group or friends list

Great advise, it helped me too! Never thought of it as a tangle before, what a great analogy. I always say "how do you eat an elephant?, one bite at a time". Just pick one thing and when you conquer that one pick another. Thank you both for posting

Weight lose may be slow but all the other benefits you mentioned are amazing. I am starting again and can't wait to begin feeling the fruits of my labor.

Sounds like you took the bull by the horns and wrestled the bad boy to the ground! You are a perfect example of overcoming physical and mental roadblocks to heal and achieve. Good luck and please post a picture of the shirt. Amazing what we will do for a shirt, LOL

Usually I have a virtual to do, I just choose which activity to add mileage. I need to workout with weight more than I do.

I found a Goonies event on Virtual Pace
-
Yes! I really like funny shirts and medals

I found 1 Goonies virtual event on Virtual Pace.

I need to check out some of the site you guys use! I will look for The Goonies Event! So glad everyone jumped in here, I really enjoy the virtual events. It is missing all the excitement of a massive number of people gathering to burn all that energy and waiting for the medal to arrive is sometimes not fun, when you do get…

We can't possibly be the only 3! I just finished the 19.1 mile Quarantinene Crazy Challenge. I will post a pick later.

I do feel it's fair. Your partner is also overweight and this would help him also, even though he has chosen to not do this for himself, he should be supportive to you. You did not try to control what nor how much he eats, only asked him to be supportive of you and not bring it into the home. I have read all the responses,…

Megamom and manderson, you two look fantastic! Very inspiring

Evamutt, I am there with you! I lost a cat 2 months ago and still miss her terribly, her brother does too. When all the kids are gone from home these furry babies become the kids! So hard to lose them. Really happy for the recovering dog, it make my heart happy for you.

Add me if ANY of you would like. 60 in August! I would love to journey with ALL of you. I have a 50 day logging streak going, lets see how far we can go!
