I use my cycling gloves. They have never given me a problem.

I found this link when I was looking into a desk. Might be worth trying it out.... http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/the-22-diy-standing-desk-made-with-ikea-parts-173463

I'm much the same. I have ranged anywhere from -7.2 pounds to +3 pounds in a week so far and it seems to go in a up one week down the other pattern.

It is either to raise the topic back up to the top of the list, to get more (or any) answers, but also a way of making the topic show up under 'Your Topics' section so you can come back to it easily and see what has been added.

As long as the body weight exercises are stressing your muscles physically and you are eating at a bit of a surplus, you will build muscle. You just have to make sure you are progressively making the workouts harder to ensure you continue to improve.

I'm 28, we can be friends for a year and a half...

I'm in Ottawa, anyone can feel free to add me.

Lol we went to a restaurant and they tried to serve taco salad like this, the waitress was smacking the jar and shaking it up and down for at least 2 minutes before it would come out. Meanwhile, the rest of us are just sitting there waiting to eat. Worst presentation ever. Handy for on the go though I suppose.

Bake up some potatoes or sweet potatoes. Nomnomnom skating fuel.

I workout out just so I can eat extra calories. Problem is, I need to do about 14 hours of intense cardio to meet my appetitie.

You should move. First world countries are way cooler about leaving the water on every day.

Bring food with you, like all the people who work somewhere where food isn't easily accessible.

It is a little known fact, but guys screw things up like this all the time.... so you will stop asking us to do things. I hate doing the laundry, so I just mangled some of my girlfriends stuff in the washing machine and now I never have to do it. Victory!

As others have said, if it is a dull achey sort of muscle pain, this is normal when you haven't worked out in a while or are upping your intensity. The pain will often go away as you get your blood flowing. If it is a sharp shooting sort of pain or pain in your joints, it might be worth taking a day off and starting again…

Also, its very improbable that you gained a pound yesterday from eating chinese food. It is more likely some of the food you ate is still inside of you, or that you are retaining extra water from the high salt in the chinese food. Think about this: You weigh yourself, then drink a litre of water. You would then weight…

Ice it after you run and a few other times during the day. Skip a day if it is bothering you.

Santa usually hooks me up. I got a few pairs at Old Navy too, and a super overpriced pair from school.

Watch them and find out? Our downstairs neighbours used to complain all the time when we did running/jumping things. Moved to a townhouse, now I can jump all over the place all day.

This and checking you have good shoes.

To get some more nutritional variety I sautee mushrooms, onions, peppers with the beef, add some corn and beans. To make lower the calorie count, I substitute the shells for a taco salad, use less cheese/sour cream. You could go with lower fat substitutes, but I like my cheese cheesey and my sour cream creamy.

I usually do back/biceps, chest/triceps, legs.

The day off is usually for heavier lifting and high impact to give the muscles you used a chance to repair themselves. You can probably get by without specific rest days between circuit training and cardio because they don't seem overly high impact to me, but it depends on what you are doing.

Cause only 12 year olds see each other on weekends and use the word sleepover? That is my only guess.

Is he married from Monday-Thursday? If not, overreacting. Although once I was going out with a girl for 4 months or so and got tired of always contacting her first, so I stopped. We haven't talked since. Now that its ~15 years later.... I think it might be over.

If you only have 10 pounds to lose, 2 pounds per month is fairly decent progress.

I'm a 28 year old PhD student. I get paid decently now from funding but didn't always. There are plenty of ways to get some cheaper filling meals. Some off the top of my head: Pasta, rice, beans. All very filling, fairly cheap and last a long time in storage, so you can buy in bulk quantities to save a bit more. Canned…

This I think was one of my biggest problems when I started. I got rid of this idea that I was being 'good' all week and that deserved rewarding. Instead I thought of it as doing what needs to be done all week and continuing to do so on the weekend. I still 'reward' myself from time to time, but try to keep those rewards…

As long as they aren't hurting your joints, do as many as you can with the full range of motion. As an example, I couldn't get through the 8-8-8 squats at the end originally because I was too out of breathe and felt like I was going to puke. So I just went a bit slower, took some breaths in between each, and did something…
