  • I have found the more expensive a protein shake is the better the taste... However, lately I've been drinking the whey protein that I get at costco 50 US Dollars
  • Totally agree with JoRocka that girl needs to do something with her arms... no one likes a chicken wing... unless it has a little BBQ sauce on it...
  • i still weigh myself daily... but i use the fat mass scales every saturday at the gym... but not sure how accurate that is to be honest... but I like it when that ones says i'm down.... Don't worry much about the home scales anymore... because of all the lifting i'm doing at the gym... i figure it isn't going to show much…
  • You say 6 weeks to bulk but Saptember is 4 months?.... if you mean 4 months I say increase your food intake especially chicken breast and other lean meat... and hit it hard but if you want to bulk up in 6 weeks it may take some more time...
  • my i make a suggestion...keep the beard it makes you look bad azz.... ^___^ Oh...good work on the one arm... now you have to work on the other one....

  • For me the food i eat the most is chicken breast.... i couldn't see myself not having them two or more times.. a week.
  • love Kimchi...but just tooo much salt in it....^^
  • It is best to lose 1 to 2lbs a week... you can do this by eating healthy or healthier... if you already eat basically healthy then limit how much you normally eat by rethinking your portions and/or use a food scale... and exercising such as walking 1hour a day..
  • you should look for a real life buddy that can help you... while MFP has many great people... real friends are the ones that motivate you the most... they are the ones that hit us over the head if we don't go to the gym... and to be honest based on what you wrote...you sound like someone that needs to hit the gym not…

  • I have had a few people who have told me to stop dieting... and I did... I started working out... Weight lifting and now I eat more... but I am getting the classic V shape.. and i'm starting to have to wear bigger shirts because of my arms... Maybe... they are trying to tell you to stop doing so much cardio and start…

  • In Korea... the cheapest place to buy protein is Costco.... I am on a very tight budget... it cost about 70dollars.. but others you can buy for the same size can run anywhere from 150 to 200. However, most of my protein comes from chicken breast, almonds, and peanut butter..

  • saw this and had to post...
  • At the gym I go to in Korea... we have only a few of what I would call fashion queens at the gym...(Since the gym offers workout clothing) I personally don't care what most women dress like at the gym.. However, i hate the fashion models with make-up and perfume... that come to the gym and don't workout... just stand…
  • I must admit you are getting there.... but the journey is just beginning think what you will look like in another 6 months....^^
  • my wife has a sweet tooth also.. and she is still thin as a bread stick.... so every once in a while i do eat one or more cookies... I then just figure it into my daily calories and keep on moving... and yes sometimes I do walk an extra 30 minutes for a piece of cake....
  • The answer to this is Willpower and nothing more.. just don't do it.. if you consider it a problem... I normally just don't drink it... but if i do i don't punish myself... I just log it in and keep on moving.. remember exercise, eat healthy and have the occasional snack or soda..
  • for me my face was the first to go.... then came arms and legs... but after that it only leaves your tummy... so keep working at it... you will see improvement... but remember slow and steady wins this race... also it keeps the skin from sagging.. Remember to keep exercising (walking) no matter what... no excuses..
  • love chocolate digestives........ dang... thanks for the warning...^^
  • Personally, I did body weight training squats, push-ups, crunches and etc. before joining a gym to use weights... and I know it prepared my body... to lift heavier... without the pain... http://hundredpushups.com/
  • I actually do alot of workouts with dumbbells.... ( I hate machines) anyway I use http://www.dumbbell-exercises.com/ to just get some ideas... also sit around the gym... watching others will help you to get some ideas... -ms
  • I've lived in Korea for 12 years... the best thing here is to just say you are on a diet... most Asians are very self aware of body image.. and understand when you tell them... Remember people are people no matter where you are...
  • yubu chobab... these little bite size korean treats got me.... they may look all harmless... but each has 100calories... I ate 10 before logging them in...
  • Yes.... for me it was time... the sooner you start the sooner you will look better... -- I would also recommend that you lose slowly... remember you don't have to lose everything now... just take your time and do it right..
  • I personally don't drink diet coke or diet pepsi because i just don't like the taste... if i'm going to drink it it going to be the real deal.. just log it in... and don't over do it....
