  • I'm looking into supplements myself (so i'm far from being an expert on this subject)... for the longest time all i used was protein shakes and bars and a daily Multivitamin... but i have recently bought carnitine, BCAA, Glutamine, Omega 3... i got a bottle (3month supply of HMB) for free also... i'm not sure if it will…
  • I don't totally agree with this... your muscles need food... no matter if you are hungry or not.. you don't want to lose muscles just because you are trying to lose weight.... eat a good breakfast with protein... it is important to stay a little hungry but a lot of hunger leads to binging.. binging leads to .....
  • If i were you... i would suggest maybe using a shake or bar.. in the morning.. and salad with chicken breast for lunch.. make a big bag of toss salad..shread the chicken breast and put in a bowl and you can eat that all week.. its simple and easy... after you are done... for dinner... eat normally with your family.. just…

  • i got a fitbit charger... recently... and I love it... but i wish i had waited for the new one that is coming out soon that monitors your heartrate also....
  • I have a plug-in hybrid car...... so as long as I don't drive more then 30 miles a day it cost very little.... I normally just plug it in every day at my school... the only time i need gas depends on how many times my wife makes me driver her to mother's....^^
  • NO.....If you over eat one day doesn't mean you have you under eat the next... Yes... If you over eat one day you can use exercise to balance it out....
  • What gets me is seeing young people playing cellphone games... or reading anime at the gym... I know it none of my business how they choose to spend their time at the gym.. but still makes me want to rip the phone out of their hands and stuff it down their throats... If you are going to pay all that money to go to the gym…
  • The second picture... is so much prettier.. i guess it is because you are smiling... remember to smile... it makes you look more beautiful no matter your size...^^
  • When it comes to burning calories your body doesn't adapt... burning calories is like eating calories... it doesn't matter if you eat 100calories of carrots or carrot cake... it still 100 calories.. the same burning calories.. walking, jogging or running... remember exercise no matter what form is better then sitting…
  • I personally listen to audiobooks while i workout... right now i'm listening to one of Tom Clancey's books.... It keeps my mind off the time... something that is so vital when doing cardio...
  • One website I like is http://www.dumbbell-exercises.com/ It has some really good exercises that you can do using only dumbbells... I still use it to mix up different exercises into my route.....dumbbells are great for the beginner... as you get stronger you can move to other things...
  • I started my diet with only walking and other cardio with little or no lifting.. However, now that I’m getting near my idea weight i have started lifting.. and I find it enjoyable after I started it.. I put my audiobook on and delete everyone else in the gym from my mind... I could care less if someone is upset because I’m…
  • In my humble opinion... someone that is making so much effort to get every calorie to the point of using a scale to measure Ketchup...is trying to get to a low BF% but for most of us... trying to lose 10kg or more wouldn't have to be so strict in our counting... weigh the big stuff.. and exercise... Clearly missing…

  • When you start weight training scales are much harder to use in defining if you are overweight or not... your going to have to get a BMI i would suggest by a professional... at least at first.
  • What makes working out fun for me is studying it... finding different workouts to change up the routines.. Reading the magazines getting inspired by those that have already achieved what I want. Remember exercising doesn’t need to be about fun or motivation it is just something you have to do… Suck it up and keep moving.
  • my suggest to you is hire a PT for a while... he or she will help guide you.. it cost a little more but if you can afford it ....then it truly is worth it.
  • I pay about 100.00 for three month membership... to a really basic gym... mostly running machines and bikes.... but i am into dumbbells and free weights.... so it is cool... I also keep a set of weights and bench in my office for a quicky....
  • Really? Can you actually say his wife doesn't like him anymore..... it sounds to me that she is upset with him... When i get upset with my wife that doesn't mean I don't like her anymore.... it means i'm upset with her.....
  • One suggest I would make is for you to reschedule your gym time early in the morning... before your wife wakes up.. so it does not effect your marriage... while I know it is a b!tch waking up at 5:30.. but at least I'm home and with my wife when it really matters....
  • I personally don't like to eat after 7pm... it is just so i can form a habit... of feeling not hungry after a certain time.. Plus.. when i did eat after that it was always the type of food I would consider extremely unhealthy... but even so would normally over eat... Like Potato Chips, Corn Chips or other... high in fat…
  • I use to do daily weight in... but now that i'm very close to the finish line... and exercising more... I do it once a week at the gym... no changes either up or down... but that is the key to life style change... learning to balance your weight where you are happy. -MS
  • pick number 1... pick number 1.... they need the members.... ^^ If i had the choice I would honestly take the number 1 gym because i'm a meat and potato type of guy... i go to the gym to lift heavy things.... and do a little cardio... if i'm in there longer then an hour...then i've been talking too much... and need to stop…
