I also work at a desk all day. I do spurts here and there throughout the day and try to sqeeze in some time at lunch if for nothing else but a walk. There are only 2 people in my office so I brought my stepper to work and on off times I will gt up and step for 15 minutes or so. In the evenings after the kids are in bed if…

It is not going to move EVERY day. Esp. since you have lost so much at first. Your body is saying "whoa, somethin is up here". Stay away from the scale for a week and see what happens. 3 days is just your body taking in the changes. Baby steps!

there is also and auto sync that needs to be checked in your Accounts and sync settings
-
It should sync automatically if you have internet access on your phone. You may need to fix the settings on your phone to allow the updates. Check your apps settings too....my "unknown sources" is checked to allow installation of nonMARKET apps.

It is probably a bit of both. Yes some people are shallow. BUT, you are probably holding your head high, walking with pride, overall putting out a more positive vibe. That in itself is noticable to others. After losing 200+ pounds I found the same thing happen to me. Others in my support group(weightloss surgery group)…

If you have internet access at home then try www.exercisetv.tv There might be some ideas and/or videos there to help you.

LMAO....I just saw the same thing....then thought...where's the "wild sex" category? No that that ever happens anymore LOL. (And that's if it lasts fifteen minutes LOL)

Could also be a blood sugar drop. I know if I eat too much it makes me feel crappy but on the other hand if I have not eaten properly (every few hours) the crash hits me and I get shakey and neasaus. When I have tested my blood sugars...anything below 70 makes me feel BAD.

This debate goes back and forth. MFP alrady had the calorie deficit built in to your daily calorie goal. You should still lose weight with no exercise. When you exercise you make that deficit bigger which could be too much....hence the eating back of those calories. Sometimes a bigger deficit is not always better and can…

freestep has no music....just a ticking noise or counting. I turn on free step then switch to tv viewing and watch whatever I want while doing it. I also bought the riser for the baance board on amazon for a good price (less than $10) and have a 5-6 inch rse on my board when I do it.
-
MFP already hads the calorie deficit built into it BEFORE you exercise. So, when you exercise your calorie deficit is even bigger. IF it is too big a deficit then you could be hurting more than helping your weightloss efforts. Do keep in mind however that if you are adding in what a computer or even workout equipment says…

I would suggest leaving your activity level alone but then add in the calories burned for your exercise. MFP will add the exercise calories to your daily calorie goal (yes you eat these). That way if you do not do P90X everyday then your calories will be adjusted accordingly those days you do work out. In your food diary…

Yep. That or they are calibrated for 6 foot plus people cause I know at 5 ft 6 I am jogging at 3 MPH too!

From one GPS patient to another. Have you tried going back to the early days of eating right afte surgery? I am not suggesting eating 500 calories a day. But, do you have any of the nutrition info they gave you then? High protien, low processed carbs. Now, I know that eating the processed carbs is "easier" than eating…

The first weeks big loss is mostly water weight. Hence the reason you lost mostly from your waist. But also remember. You have to be very precise when measuring. If you measure higher up on your thigh the second time then you did the first time you are going to get a very different result. This could be the drastic…

No matter what route you decide to take it is a LIFE LONG journey. There is no easy or quick fix. I had gastric bypass in 12 of 2006. I weighed 397 pounds. In 2 years I got down to 175 where I stabalized. I was fine with that. I knew I would never get to 130 and probably not even 150 without having plastic surgery to…

I threw mine away LOL Now I only weigh when I use the wii fit (which is far and few between lately).

Have you had surgery or a baby recently? Or could be a thyroid issue. In a few weeks of taking vitamins, upping protein and even add a biotin supplement...if it has not stopped i would check your thyroid.

Or exercise instead...if you are bored...move more. Brush your teeth.... Drink water and wait 20 minutes. You may be hungry...you may just be thirsty. As much as I hate to waste money or throw away food...get rid of the easy to eat junk and put easy munchy veggies in its lace (I recently did this at work. My coworker keeps…

Opposite problem here... Helps that I am a bit OCD when it comes to the house. Short of the occassional dusting/windexing and weekly bathroom cleaning. The rest stays caught up regardless. I make sure dishes are done every night/every morning before work. The house is always tidey. Not bragging....like I said...slight OCD…

Similar to calorie cycling...whch some people are for and some against. It's a personal choice really. I don't see the harm in it if after the entire week you didnot consume more than your weekly allowance. You will find different things work for you and not someome else. Try it. See what hppens. Most likely no harm will…

bump....cause I want one too without breaking the bank!

It took 9 mnths to put on that "baby" weight....of course my baby is now 8 months old LOL. Still trying to do it....oly started MFP a few weeks ago and trying to get my sacking under control and healthier. Sitting at my esk all day all I want to do is munch. Bought baby carrots, radishes, cucumber, bell pepper and brocolli…

Hard to know without having access to your food diary. Lunch meats are high in sodium though....so if you are eating those daily there is part of your problem right there. I have heard getting your sliced meats from the deli directly is lower in sodium but don't know this for a fact. I avoid sandwiches and lunch meats…

MFP uses general guidelines for calories burned and info input from other users so if what they input was on the high end then it will pop up. Everyone burns calories at a different rate. I wish I had an HRM....my bday is coming and THAT is at the TOP of my list! It is hard to gage what I am burning and I have a tendency…

I absolutelly love the spicey thai chili tuna packet (Walmart)...comes the the crackers and tuna (not mied with mayo either)....250 calories....easy, portable and full o flavor! Otherwise I would suggest tuna packets, nuts, fruits.

Must confess.... I have the EA sports active 2. Never have used it yet! What am I waiting for? Have no idea! I HATE exercise and need something that makes me WANT to do it. After work and kids are in bed....gonna break the seal on the box!
-
MFP has a minimum calorie goal of 1200/day. You should not eat less than that or you risk doing more harm than good. Obviously you are already a small person trying to lose a few more pounds and the healthies way to do this is slowly. Not what you wat to hear I am sure but that is how it should be. If you were severly over…

Muscle milk (not the light) has a lot of calories for a protein supplement so maybe try that for a bit too.
