First of all, I apologize for not being savvy enough to know enough to come back here to see who wanted to join in accountability health partners. I'll be friending those of you that responded. Hopefully everyone is still on here. My MFP friend list is dying a slow death. Judy

I'm new to OTF since December. I'm currently going 4-5 times a week at 5:00 a.m. I'd look to add those of you that are active on here for encouragement. I'm currently doing the OTF challenge and lost an inch in my waist the first week. I am struggling with getting enough protein and decreasing or equaling out my carbs. i…

Hi My name is Judy. I am 47 and I've noticed the slow climb on the scale lately too. I have found that I HAVE TO exercise every day or the weight climbs. I've tried the light dinner approach too and it hasn't helped yet. Add me and we can tackle this monster together! I'm looking to add more friends that actually use MFP.…

Much stronger person than I am. I found I'm a ***** without caffeine and I am not a coffee/tea drinker so, I'd rather not be so *****y so I NEED it!

I'll have to try that. Having same issue but can't callCS due to time difference.
-
Thanks! I am having the same issues with mine!

Good for you! I have naturally high cholesterol regardless of how much I exercise and what I eat. My normal is about where you are now and I have been able to stay off the meds. I nearly killed myself trying to get it under 200. Kudos to you!

You look amazing! Not sure what you are doing to drop the weight but keep it up it's working!!

Needed a recent progress picture so took it of myself on the ol' ipad!

I'm 44 and will be 45 in November! I'm in the best shape of my life and can out work my 17 year old son in any P90X workout!! And he's a distance runner!! Love that I'm not alone out there.

Ok this isn't a text but how the heck do you manage that!?? I can't tell you how many times I've driven to chik fila and actually pulled into the parking lot and then realize why it's empty. I blame it on the dazed mom of three syndrome.

My beachbody coach increased my calories from 1200 to 1500 and changed my macros and that broke a year plateau. I'm working on cleaning up my diet, so that said, you can add me and look at my diary. I live in Texas and can't refuse a bowl of good salsa and chips. Also during the summer I over indulge on the adult…

I'm on day 9 no caffeine, no diet sodas. I am headache free now but do miss the carbonation. I am on summer break (work in the schools) and know that's when I'll miss the caffeine. I was up to 2-3 diet sodas a day. I am mainly doing it to rid my body of the sweeteners and all the crazy *kitten* stuff I've read about what a…

Put on your workout gear, your shoes and get going. That's what I do and I am always glad I did. I also tell myself, I won't do X until I work out today. I'm so mean to myself!

I do this too! And I've recently have been experimenting with these when I want an adult beverage!:drinker:

All the new people out there: Feel free to friend me if you think we can support each other. I only keep MFP friends that log in consistently though :noway:

Wow that is major surgery! Congrats to you for taking the steps needed towards a healthier you! I hope you find a great support system to help you on your journey.

Good job! I see all three in your profile picture! Keep up the HARD work!

You look small in your picture. If you don't have much to lose, it is painfully slow and all about nutrition. That said, I've been working on the last five pounds for over a year :noway:
-
Amazing! Keep up the hard work!

I had that same comment made this week at work! She's on this journey with me so I don't think it's ill intended and she is a nurse, but I am technically on the high end of my ideal and think I can lose five more pounds and still be at a healthy weight. I have had alot of comments lately about how much weight I'm losing…

Same thing here in Texas!! I haven't lost but an initial 2 lbs (i've lost 20 since I started this journey in January 2009.) BUT I measured this morning and I am down a little over 2 inches in my waist in 3 weeks! Wish I had done P90X a loooooong time ago!
-
Just saw the last picture!! AMAZING!! Fabulous job! Keep it up!

I couldn't see the last picture but your November looks amazing! Kudos for all your hard work.

For me personally, I treat every day as a new day. If I get off track today at any particular moment, I don't kick myself about it, I simply keep moving forward. One bad choice, meal, day doesn't mean you are done. You simply tell yourself you will do better and get back on track. I think sometimes we let ourselves give in…

Try increasing your protein for a few weeks. My Beachbody Coach, suggested that for me and I finally broke a 10 month plateau! I'm right about where you are with my weight loss. 20 lbs lost, maybe 5 more would be gold!! The weight loss is SSSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOWWWWWW when you almost reach your goal! I am slowly learning to get…
