  • Congratulations!!!:drinker: That's really wonderful! It feels good to reach goals
  • So you're really suppose to eat all the calories for the day? Meaning your regular amount plus what you earn from exersing? That seems like it defeats the purpose of exercising. Because isn't the only way to lose weight is to take in less than you put out? So I'm confused. :ohwell:
  • I go to one on Tue, Thurs, and sometimes Sat at 6 AM. It;s been a great discovery for me, for defining my body
  • :drinker: That's amazing! Congratulations!! Keep up the good work!
  • Thank you everyone!!!!!:flowerforyou:
  • I'm also like 55 lighter than my last birthday. So that's great. Hopefully today won't be too damaging. That is all, have a good day
  • Thank you everyone for all the encoruagement! I went out this morning and ran/walked 2.6 miles in 32 mins. So here's to a new day. I have all my meals planned and I'm ready to go. There is still pie in the fridge, but I'm going to take a day (or two) off from it! :flowerforyou:
  • I went over my daily calories by 355. I don't really know why. I was tired, I had relatives visiting whom I haven't seen in 3 years. My Grandma brought me a homemade sweet potato pie (two but I left one at my mom's house) and I just at a fourth of it with some sugar free vanilla ice cream. I've also drank 2 glasses of…
  • Great recipe. Are you doing WW? Your weightloss is impressive! WTG
  • You CAN do anything you put your mind to. You have to find that inner strength and determination to achive your goals. Take it one day at a time. One step at a time. One meal at a time. One pound at a time. Sometimes looking at the whole picture can become overwellming and not make us want to, or believe we can do it. I…
  • Congratulations!!! Way to go:happy:
  • Is it 30 days straight with no days off? I think the levels change right? But you probably won't lose the 20lbs she says unless you do her diet with the workout.
  • I've always been under the impression that in order to lose weight you needed to burn more than you consume. If this is the case, why should you eat all the calories you burn from exercising? Does it really make a difference?
  • hehe, yeah it's good for venting, but may not provide you with the skills nessecary for every day life!
  • A way to save some calories is to use Bryers fat free and sugar free double churn ice cream. It's very good and like 80 calories per half cup
  • I'm sorry you're going through this. It's got to be rough. Honestly if you can find a therapist or someone to talk to, to help you through this process, it is greiving and it's a process that's going to take a while. But you WILL get through it, and you WILL be stronger in the end if you choose to go that way. Best wishes…
  • Believe it or not, I didn't work out as much. I had been working out 6 to 7 days a week. This past week I worked out 5 days with two days off not together. I also drank more water. I really watched my portions too. Good luck. I know you will push past this!
  • I'm really happy about that. It's been a while since I had such a big loss. I hope I can keep it up. Thanks for letting me share!:flowerforyou:
  • Thanks everyone for the enocouragement. I don't eat all my exercise calories, I feel bad doing it. Maybe I'm not eating enough. But I don't like to eat when I'm not hungry. I use a HRM to measure how many calories I burn, I've always thought that was a pretty accurate way to measure. Prior to it, I would over or…
  • I feel like I'm doing everything right and nothing is happening. It's just such a slow losing process for me. It's discouraging. Especially when I see others around me, doing half the amount of work I am and eating worse, dropping pounds like no body's business. For example. Last week according to my HRM I burned 5038…
  • Congratulations!! Keep up the great work!!:flowerforyou:
  • That's how many calories I burned this morning in 1 hour of my boot camp class!! (according to my HRM) Totally kicked by booty but it's all good, only exercise right?!! BTW I've burned 2700 calories~ I would like to burn 3500 a week. It's a lot but hey, burn baby burn! Have a good one:flowerforyou:
  • I'm not sure how long it took, but they are pretty normal now. They aren't as big as they were when I was BF, but they aren't as small as they were when I was 125lbs haha. It gets better. My daughters been weened for 2 months
  • Does anyone do Weight Watchers and this webiste? I have been finding WW to make me crazy all the counting, and weighting myself etc. It's making me have a very unhealthy outlook on losing weight. I'm not sure this website will help with that. Here's my thing. I know how to lose weight. Eat the right foods, and exercise…
  • I forgot the name of it. I know awful. But I bought it at Target. It was onsale for $42 orginially $50. I didn't want to spend a lot on one because I'm not sure I want to be obessed wtih it, and I didn't know how it was going to work out. It's cute. It's baby blue looks like a regualr watch.
  • I got a HRM and I like it. The crazy thing is, it says I burn WAY more calories than the machines do. Like today I burned 917 calories in an hour. I did 31 mins on the eliptical at level 8, and 18 mins on the tredmill alternating jogging and walking. Then some ab work. Seems kinda crazy, but I checked my heart rate and it…
  • I had a baby in Sept 2007. I delievered my 9lb turkey when I weight 267. I'm currently 211. I'm happy about that. But I didn't really start TRYING to lose weight until my 6 week check up. At that check up I weighed 235.8. So it's basically taken me 6 months to lose 25 pounds!!! It's just so disappoint sometimes when I…
  • Ease yourself back in to running. Start out slow and then work up. This is coming from a person who too HATED running, because it was always a negative experience. Then I tried the couch 2 5k running program, from coolrunnings.com. It's a great 9 week routine that builds up your endurance, and eases you into a 30 min…
  • I would like to join, but I'm addicted to my scale, I'm on it 2 times a day, and I know that's awful , I shouldn't be, but I can't help it. I'm going to start small and go one week without looking at it. :ohwell:
