I got a HRM and I like it. The crazy thing is, it says I burn WAY more calories than the machines do. Like today I burned 917 calories in an hour. I did 31 mins on the eliptical at level 8, and 18 mins on the tredmill alternating jogging and walking. Then some ab work.

Seems kinda crazy, but I checked my heart rate and it was around 170 90% of the time. So I guess it's possible.

Crazy.

I hope this tool helps me with my weight loss.

I defenitely want to get one, I'm just confused on what kind to get.
I would like one that looks decent so i can wear it all the time and i don't want to spend a whole lot of money on one!

I got one of those heart rate moniters from the medical auction the other day. Its kind of bulky dragging that moniter around with the tower, I get some funny looks, especially when Im running on the tread mill its beeping really fast and it falls off my finger and is a long deep. I don't see what everyone sees in these?

Ok all joking aside, I dont have one :frown: Im saving to buy a house and also have a good nest egg since I got the wedding covered now and I am hoping maybe Santa can bring me one. I heard other members say they like the Polar one with the chest strap as its the most accurate I guess? :)

I forgot the name of it. I know awful. But I bought it at Target. It was onsale for $42 orginially $50. I didn't want to spend a lot on one because I'm not sure I want to be obessed wtih it, and I didn't know how it was going to work out.

It's cute. It's baby blue looks like a regualr watch.
