  • a serving size is 2 oz dry....one cup cooked...about 200 calories.
  • I just made my own and labeled it Turbofire and used my calories burned from my HRM. MFP is never accurate on calorie burns anyway.
  • I am on the same meds for about 6 months now and no better...I think worse. My last 2 lab checks showed in normal range for numbers. I go back to recheck in Feb and hoping to go off meds completely. I have done research and everything my Chiro has said have been backed up with these facts. Did you lose the weight after…
  • I just got the Polar T4.....it is definitely more accurate than my MIO was. I have all these health issues that I think are hindering my weightloss attempts. Just tired of tracking everything all the time.
  • Thanks but I am NOT just getting started. I started MFP 3/2011 so you would think I would be almost at goal by now......I have tweaked almost everything more than once. Its super frustrating.
  • I am sure I wont get any answers....just was hoping. Going to try some Holy Basil to lower my Cortisol and see how that works. I just feel all this working out and logging is wasteful when I am not where I want to be after almost 3 years.
  • Welp....I guess I am screwed since Adrenal Fatigue is a generic diagnosis....and whether my Chiropractor is a certified Dr or not he knows more than I do. All symptoms of this cept the weightloss are apparent to mine. I just hate feeling like a grandma at 36 yrs old. It hurts too when I am swollen up like a puffer fish. I…
  • I guess then it must be like Fibromyalgia.......a bunch of issues looped together and given a label. Either way all symptoms point to me whether I like or not.....just trying to rectify it.
  • THANK YOU! This is hard for some (even me) to wrap their heads around. I wish I had the weightloss issue with HYPER!
  • If you read my first post its says I am HYPER (overactive!!) and find it funny since I am overweight. I have blood work to show my elevated Cortisol levels and the Adrenal Fatigue was diagnosed thru questionnaire. This is why I don't understand why I have such issues losing weight. I should be thin! Not trying to be snappy…
  • This is why I find it so funny I have HYPER! I am a high strung person apparently and my heart is ALWAYS racing! I am exhausted from this! I feel better though when I workout...like I am releasing pent up energy! I just want some insight on some things to do. I feel this med for HYPER is slowing me down since its purpose…
  • I AM HYPER NOT HYPO so my issue is slightly different. I take all my pills together so I don't forget.
  • I was diagnosed with high Cortisol and Hyper from my Endocrinologist and Gyno- the Adrenal Fatigued was diagnosed from my Chiropractor on taking a health questionnaire. I am sure the elevated stress levels come with Hyper diagnosis. I have all symptons of Adrenal Fatigue...so who knows. I am not a Dr.
  • ^^^^thanks, wasn't sure there was a test or not. I just read to go gluten free and sugar free to help with thyroid/hormone/Adrenal Fatigue issues. I am too young for all this crap!
  • Awesome job! How tall are you if I may ask? I started at 265 and was done to 202 but gained this past holiday...now its the winding down time.....we have similar final goal weights. Just curious as I am 5'6 1/2.
  • I have been doing DVDs at home for almost 3 years and yes, success at first but have plateaued. And have done so many different ones I am rather bored. I am contemplating joining the Y....there is something about wanting to push yourself harder when you have eyes on you.
  • Ii just made these and added REAL bacon pieces-DELISH! Last night I shredded it and sautéed in Olive Oil and mushrooms with seasoning saltto die for!
  • I like my hair in this pic and my hubby is adorable.
  • KEEP ON KEEPING ON! Trying harder this year because 2013 was a joke! Log daily, low carb, high protein, exercise at least 5x/wk, WATER and lose the 50lbs I have left to lose! Here's to 2014! :drinker:
  • I just turned 36 5 days ago...mom to 2 lil girls. Been on here for almost 3 years (in March) since youngest was 3 months old. Lost 63lbs but have gained back 20lbs. NOW I have 50 more to lose. Hoping 2014 is my year because last year all I did was gain and lose the same 20lbs. Always looking for people close to my age for…
  • Well, that stinks-my trouble zones......any workouts to help reduce these areas? My arms are HUGE and don't match my body.
  • I was told by my Chiropractor to do this to fight the severe inflammation I have everywhere. I may do it if I can find a sub for cheese......might be tough.
  • Hey there! Also mom of 2 (8 and almost 3) SAHM....35 yr old....been on here for almost 3 yrs lost 60lbs gained back 20 lbs. Trying to get down to 165-175lbs...started at 265lb after having baby #2. Looking for much support and will give back in return! Please add me! Stacey~
  • If you give support you can add me. I have been on here a while and lack that. This seems to help keep me motivated.
  • ^^^ you are awesome
  • ^^^ this amongst other natural remedies ***wink wink
  • Well...... I think you hit it right on the head! Everything you have stated (except the work pressure) hits too close to home and are clearly my excuses also. So what are we going to do about it? Your Pal, Poesch~
  • geez...what do I have to do to get some new friends?
  • I have 50 some friends and only hear from the same 5 people.....:( Need new friends!
