  • ^^^^^^ hahaha this is gold! XD
  • Def wait till after the baby! Not a good idea to start running now, your body isn't used to it. You have to watch your HR and your joints are more prone to damage during pregnancy I already run now, however my doc had advised for me to stop when pregnant and go less impact :) Swimming is great and easy on the joints/belly…
  • I had my first and only tattoo down my ribs to my hip - ribs are supposed to hurt some of the worst but i didn't think it was bad at all, just had to breathe through it during some of the outlining on the bone, the colouring in doesn't hurt at all - i could handle that all day! :) Mine was to remember my baby that i…
  • Sorry ladies i had some bad news again! A week after finding out i was pregnant i started bleeding and seems i had a chemical pregnancy! :( I thought my hcg seemed low at only 50, went to the hosp this week with slight bleeding and cramping and it was only 38, this week its just like AF is here Though i'm not upset with…
  • The waiting game sucks! my period was 9 days late before i got a positive test.. so frustrating and i just knew that i was, got to the point where i just didn't want to see another negative again! Good luck and fingers crossed for you!
  • Great advice! I might try the weighing daily and logging weekly, at the moment i only weigh weekly but the scales haven't been going to my favour (silly season not helping!) But at least i don't need to feel guilty on the weekends as i'm usually under during the week :)
  • AWESOME!! Gotta love moments like that ;) Well done!
  • If you've already completed Insanity a few times i would say definitely do-able, after i did a couple of rounds i was interchanging it with my running. 30DS is a relatively short workout, but generally the Hybrids are a mix of two workouts on interchangeable days (eg google P90X and Insanity Hybrids etc) Not to put you off…
  • Possibly because you want to LOSE weight, not LOOSE ;)
  • Just stick at it! I WILL become second nature - eventually you will know how many cals you have eaten for that day even without logging! Plus the more you log the easier it gets, we're creatures of habit and tend to eat a lot of the same foods on repeat, once they're in your diary they will be easier to add :) Good luck!
  • Hi there! I came off the pill earlier this year after being on it since about 14/15..long time! I honestly didn't really find my weight was affected at all, though my skin went back to being teenage skin argh! I just had to stick it out until my hormones regulated, hated that fact that i was having all those "fake"…
  • I'm a Perthie too - feel free to add :))
  • Thanks everyone for all your kind words, i was booked in for a d&c this morning and all done now The baby was over 10wks so going natural would be long, drawnout and painful The docs have said i will actually be more fertile now as everything is all cleaned out once i start trying again, was put to sleep and didn't feel a…
  • Hi there! Nice to meet you :) I'm due 20th May with my first too :))
  • Definitely missing sushi - i love smoked salmon and avocado drool! Also walked past all the soft cheeses at the supermarket last night, brie/camembert etc, not like i have it all the time but when you CAN'T have something then you really want it, typical! I'm missing being able to buy a salad from a salad bar big time -…
  • Hi Lisa!! I am loving Quest Bars at the moment, great yummy snack and doesn't have all the nasties the usual ones do - i get mine from iHerb, and a whooping 21g of protein per bar I also have Plantfusion protein powder, i'm not a massive fan of shakes so i usually add my powder to my overnight oats :) Plantfusion is all…
  • I'm still tracking everything 100% as i always have on MFP - exercise and cals - and eating back my exercise cals Like mentioned before its handy to track your macros - making sure i get lots of protein and fibre etc I'm also still logging my weight weekly MFP logging is just second nature so its not a chore and keeping me…
  • I've told our families - who are all over the moon excited - especially mine, first baby in the family for 20 years and first grandbaby! We've only told very close friends. I have a girls dinner next week where i think i will have to tell seeing as i'm usually the life of the party knocking back the wines! I told my boss…
  • I'm still working out every day - a mixture of either running with my dog, bodypump or Shaun T Focus T25 Before falling pregnant i was doing Insanity Asylum and also ran my first half marathon this year - so my body is used to intense exercise what i'm doing at the moment is quite a big drop in activity for me, though i'm…
  • I had my first at 6 weeks, due to a scary pain on my left side the hospital was worried it was ectopic Heart beat heard and got a nice CD with lotsa pics already (not that you can see much!) Hubby couldn't be therefore unfortunately, so i can't wait to share it with him when we go back at 10 weeks :)) Nice to meet you all…
  • Hey there! I'm 6 almost 7 weeks pregnant :) Trying my best to stay fit and healthy throughout too! :)
  • A Group sounds great so i don't have to keep coming back to this thread! hehe!! My EDD is 14th May, with my first, NO MORNING SICKNESS YET AND BETTER STAY THAT WAY! ;) I'm itching to get to 12 weeks so i can tell the world! And then everyone will know why i'm avoiding social events (so not me!) and not drinking (alcohol…
  • I'm 5 weeks too with my first! Yay :)) My boobs have already re-filled out my bra - much to hubby's delight (they had shrunk due to exercise!) so they're quite tender apart from that i haven't felt too much else, a tad dizzy on the odd occasion No morning sickness or nausea yet and i hope hope hope it stays that way! Also…
  • Hi Ladies! Nice to meet you, i just returned from Honeymoon (a year late so it was Honeymoon and Wedding anniversary!) Was in Thailand and then Bali, and just found out this week that i'm pregnant with my first :)) Very excited!
