I was ready to give him the benefit of the doubt and think that maybe he posted in the wrong thread accidentally. But then he kept replying, so yeah............. What's his obsession with periods, anyway?

Interesting responses. My hips and butt are huge. I am 5'4" (just a bit under, I think). When I was my heaviest (291) I wore a 22/24 in jeans. I got down to 180 and was in a 14. I unfortunately got back up to 253, and I was in a tight 18. I'm in the 230s now and the 18s are falling off my waist.

I agree!

Lol... her question was to whether or not others gained weight while on their period. If there is a man here who gets a period and can answer (for themselves) her question, I'm sure she'd be okay if the men responded.

You really weren't able to figure that one out? :noway:
-
Incredible. :drinker: Everyone.

Pregnancy doesn't have to = big. I gained 8 lbs and 13 lbs during my pregnancies. I ate the right things, was exercising in moderation, and ended up weighing less after I delivered than I did beforehand.

I wear long sleeved shirts under my scrubs at work to somewhat mask my fat arms. It's great in the winter but in the summer, hotter than Hades. :embarassed:

Even if they DO notice, they might not feel comfortable bringing it up. I wouldn't be upset if nobody mentions it- do this for YOU.

If you have any kidney/liver problems you should talk to your doc about protein intake. I think the general recommendation is that protein should make up 20-30% of your intake- and that's not taking into consideration if you're trying to lose weight or not.

Bump- sounds good :)

I was normal weight until about 12-13 or so... then I started packing on the pounds

There's positively no way that you can't make at least 20-30 min a day, a couple of days a week, to do SOME kind of exercise. Lots of FREE workouts on youtube, if money is tight. As far as 10 lbs in 2 weeks, unless you're a good deal overweight... I don't know that it will safely happen.

Before you leave your house, when you get to work, during your break(s), after you punch out/leave, and when you get home- lots of opportunity to pee/drink if you can't drink WHILE working... Saving all of your water to do at once will probably just make you feel bloated and of course, have you up at night more than you…

I'm a nurse from the US :drinker: I'd lost 100 lbs and regained more than half, now I'm back on the losing side again. Lol. Congrats on your weight loss!

I love free! Lol... I'm interested. I think.

Exactly this. Don't mention it to him anymore, and if he says something nasty out of the blue, take it with a grain of salt. If he continues to make you feel like crap though, I might be rethinking things if I were you.
-
You look really good! Way to go!
-
Stay within your calories, drink a crap-ton of water, and exercise... :indifferent:
-
30 pounds! Great job.. :)
-
You look awesome. My highest weight was 4 lbs less than yours. I lost 110 lbs and have gained some back, so I'm kinda doing it all over again. Ack.
-
Gatorade. In moderation.
-
Completely different person! You can do this!
-
You look like her (you 100+ lbs ago) younger sister! Excellent work. :)

Consider investing in a HRM!

My dog drags me around the block and the yard. She's growing everyday and I'm actually a little frightened at how big she's going to be. :embarassed: Fortunately KinderPuppy is helping us both but geez.......

Love this!
