Im so sorry for your loss- I recently lost a much loved pet too. Dont kick yourself about 2 days of eating over calories- put it behind you. The longer you beat yourself up the longer the behavior stays with you. Tomorow tell yourself that you did it yesterday, but thats OK and over- today you are back in rhythm.

If you like peanuts try roasted edamame. The nutrition breakdown is excellent!

Im back and looking to loose 50 lbs (again). I never used the friend part of MFP- Im hoping maybe this time it will help keep me motivated. Add me!
-
Embracing dietary fat has solved that problem for me- especially going from fat free to 2% yogurt for breakfast.
-
My go to snack- dry roasted edamame. Macros are awesome and a reasonable 184 calories.
-
Just for today I will log and not go over my calories

Dietary fat is my weight-loss BFF! Having some in every meal helps me feel satisfied, stay full, and feel content with my caloric deficit. My daily fat goal is 40% of my calories from fat and have been loosing 1 to 2 lbs a week for a few months now.

For me Happy Scale has taken the anxiety (and often disappointment) out of a weekly weigh in. Its a great tool to separate normal daily weight fluctuations from actual weight loss progress
-
I like the happy scale app. For me it took away the importance of a single weekly number (which I usually saw as pass/fail test) and emphasizes the journey. It also shows me the daily ups and downs as the red herrings they are- something I didn't truly understand with a weekly weigh in. With happy scale and daily weighing,…

"Healthy" is subjective... With real whipped cream or (better) Breyers vanilla bean ice cream

You may want to call and confirm, but I read the *information as their product (including the chocolate on top) is 100 calories- the same as their nutrition label. The "Yogurt with Toppings" is some other unnamed generic product described for comparison to show you that their product (including the chocolate) is less…

That's how I read it, but it is certainly not clear. I'd call Dannon for confirmation if concerned.

Thanks Erickrb. My gut told me that (and the fact that it is referred to as DAILY recommend intake) but I was hoping anyway...

Their website has the same information (*below). They are trying to say their product (everything in the container including the chocolate on top) is less calories than some unnamed alternative yogurt with toppings. Not very clear/specific, but the nutritional info on the label is correct. You were not misled. website…

Meal timing (first thing in the AM and then every 3-4 hrs) and getting protein, fat, and fiber at every meal has helped me feel full throughout the day. I used to eat 1 or 2 big meals a day and liked it but was talked into giving 5 meals a day a try for a couple of weeks. 1200 calories a day and I haven't been hungry. Its…

Better-than-Mom's Chicken, Broccoli, and Quinoa Casserole with Creamy Curry Sauce. The picture is questionable but it is delicious!

I'm asking because the idea that I need to regularly increase my exercise (weights or cardio) in order to get the same benefit (maintain fitness) doesn't make sense to me and I am trying to understand. The idea that you need to do more to improve & do the same to stay the same makes more sense to me.

I love Fage 2% plain with a sweet roasted veg like beet or sweet potato- it balances out the tart and keeps it from being dessert sweet.
