I like string cheese because I pull it apart string by string and it takes a while to eat. :) I also like the Wrigleys' dessert gums...mint chocolate chip is awesome. And of course, plenty of cold water bottles!

That's a big deal! Congrats!! :)

I'm gonna have to go find that cookbook! Sounds great!

I've also had 2 c-sections and that's the one part of my body I can't lose fat in or tone up...it's just this big pouch! I'm trying bicycle and reverse crunches....don't know if it will help, but that's what I'm doing.
-
Sending you a big hug!! Go take a nice relaxing shower or bath. Make a cup of warm herbal tea....hang in there. :)
-
I WILL be making these this weekend! :) Thanks for posting!

I want to grow a garden so bad...but I have no idea how. I don't have a green thumb, and I have a hard time even keeping flowers in my flower bed alive....any tips would be great. I'd LOVE to have homegrown veggies.
-
french fries and milk shakes...my favorite combo. No longer in my life.

I was a big snacker/tv watcher...and when I watched The Food Network, it was jut worse~! Now, I keep a bottle of water with me, and if I do want something to munch on, I put some grapes or apple slices in a sandwich baggie and that's my snack...It's funny, it doesn't really matter WHAT we are snacking on...it's all mental,…

You can do this...you will find different ways to make your comfort foods, only make them healthier. Try diet coke and chocolate cake mix and bake..that's your sweets! Pizza made on a pita bread or while wheat tortilla is great....lots of great recipes are posted on this site. Welcome and good luck!!

NICE! I'm a rocker at heart, but I find it hard to work out to it. I tend to put some 80's music on Pandora and work out to that.
-
I've never tried it on rice....I would suggest spaghetti squash.
-
Hey Crystal. Welcome! :)
-
I wanted to treat myself with a pedicure and massage once I lost 15 lbs...I've been stuck at 13 pounds. LOL. I'll really enjoy my "treat" now...since I'm having to wait for what seems like forever to get there! :)

Hey Aza! Welcome to the MFP community! :)

Welcome to MFP. :)

I'd suggest fruit, or cottage cheese, or a protein bar or protein shake...something like that.

-
I need to know how you do this too! I've been here for 7 weeks and have only lost 13 pounds.

I made cajun seasoned tilapia over a bed of polenta and topped with a homemade tomato garlic sauce. sooo good
-
great thread! lots of good ideas! I usually just do a tuna melt...next time I think I'm gonna try it with laughing cow cheese.
-
When I went, I ate the Dragonfire chicken...it was sooo good. My son got the parmesan crusted chicken. It looked good and the mozzarella tomato salad looked awesome. But, it also came with creamy tortellini. Not sure how with that on the plate, it still says it's the calories that is says. I was weary of that.

I like to season them with cajun seasoning and grill...you can cook in a skillet with some lemon pepper and lemon juice. Cook in some diced tomatoes with onion and garlic and serve that over brown rice or wheat pasta.
