I have a Camelback that holds 2-3lts of water as well as snacks etc...LOVE it...I dont have a problem with running with it on and I can run for hours at a time and not worry about water or anything.

The easiest way to start would be to go for a walk and run for a set time, then walk and repeat. You'll sooner or later increase the amount you run to the point where you wont stop running. I use Runtastic Pro and have had no issues. Have also used Strava, MapMyRun & RunKeeper. I think it all comes down to where you're running and if there is clear GPS signal.

I would be worried that if they ban deadlifting what will they ban next?? I'd tear up the membership and look for a better gym that actually lets you use it for its designed purpose
