  • Yes I'm 5'1". I am 134 (according to home scales which means the medical scales are 4 pounds higher...ugh!) but I started at 159. I almost teetered over the edge for me (which meant I had to buy a whole new wardrobe..now that I'm not working...not good!) I am doing a muli-pronged approach to weight loss. do the 1200…
  • I'm going to point out something to you that my mom and i tell ourselves everyday. Who cares about the doctor's scales? If you are losing weight, feeling better and your clothes are looking "so fine" on you, then don't let the sun catch you crying! You're doing great! : ):drinker:
  • I injured my knee and found that Donovan Green (Dr. Oz personal trainer) has a "no excuses workout series). They are done sitting and he shows you modifications. I've gotten stronger. What worries me is that I HAVE to do the knee exercises for my knee to handle standing on hard surfaces. I've had an MRI but they found a…
  • great job losing 27 lbs!
  • Ha!!
  • You rock the top! STAY on top!
  • Did you suffer horribly??? LOL! I've lost 21 pounds and haven't suffered because...well, i quit my job (i had the ability to do that presently) and don't eat after seven. I stick to the 1200 calorie diet that lets me lose one pound a week. I may not lose one a week but I started in Feb. and feel that this is indicative of…
  • Look at you! 99 pounds lost! Good job! Wow!
  • HI! I am not a chocoholic, but the SKinny Cow candy bar that is a piece of chocolate filled with peanut butter is only 130 calories. I eat that for my after dinner snack if I feel the need.! It satisfies both the chocolate and peanut butter cravings! Eat it after your regular dinner though as you don't want to eat it when…
  • OHH SO FUNNY, steampunksong! Love this comment! My daughter will love it too!
  • I also spent 1200 bucks with BodybyVi which did NOT work for me. Also, I spent a lot of money with a diet thing called "ADvocare" and it didn't help me either. Old fashioned calorie intake that measures all this stuff for me is what worked. my mom and I also got a food scale.
  • I can't really tell if I've dropped a size but my clothes that i have fit better. I'm still a little anxious about not moving the middle fat out of the way but my mom and I have started exercising for strength...I have a knee problem and she has a back problem. this ap has been THE WAY TO GO for me. I quit my retail job in…
  • I know you're right but she has three kids. I used to have kids climbing on me and under me while I exercised. I was thinking..."REALLY, KIDS""" DON'T YOU KNOW MOM NEEDS TO STAY HEALTHY SO SHE CAN KEEP UP WITH YOUR MISCHIEF??" LOL!:noway: :noway:
  • I don't log my coffee...i know that's bad...even though I put heaps of sugar in it. I want to see how much I lose without omitting coffee with sugar. If I get down, to where i want, then I will optimize that situation too!:noway:
  • Now this is just my experience. The lady who suggested protein and exercise, I'm sure is right. I have a knee injury so I had to do Donovan Green's No Excuse chair exercises (which I LOVE). He's so very cute too! (I'm 61 so no I'm not stalking him). Also, i found that Carcinia Cambogia really helped curb my appetite. I…
