  • Now that I am close to goal mine are shrinking quite quickly! (I am not complaining) For a while there I didn't think they were going to go anywhere. So far I have went from a very crammed in 36dd to a 32ddd and I have a feeling I might go down just a little more. Depending on if you are large chested due to genetics or…
  • I apologize if any of this has been said but I don't have the time to read all the responses before I post. I just wanted to share my 2 cents on what I do and maybe it will help you or maybe not. I have a boyfriend who is extremely thin and can eat anything under the sun because his job is so active, without gaining any…
  • OMG I completely forgot about these bumps! I used to have them too! I never knew what they were from though but they are and have been gone for a while....crazy!
  • I can completely relate to the part of weighing less than your SO. My bf is incredibly thin (despite eating like crap) and has weighed less than me our entire relationship. The day I could fit his softball pants and had to wear a pair because mine were all too big was one of my favorite days of this journey! Congrats to…
  • I also second the leggings (or jeggings) suggestion! They have been my life saver through this!
  • Not sure where you are from but in my area we have local Buy, Sell, Trade pages on Facebook that people are always posting stuff on! I have bought some clothes from there as I have gone along and the best part is you can sell your old stuff on there for money too!
  • Leave more calories for the evening. I usually try to leave about half of my calories for the evening so I don't over eat (go over my calories). I am also 5'5 and have lost just fine eating above 1200 calories (with my activity as sedentary), you might want to look at eating a bit more so you aren't starving.
  • Yes I drink and yes I log it. My wine is my dessert like others have said. I eat the way I plan to once I reach my goal. You will never take my wine or alcohol. I enjoy the taste far too much. Has it slowed down my weight loss? Maybe. Do I care though? Not really. I am in this for the long haul not some quick fix. If you…
  • Eat if you are hungry. I don't tend to eat until I have been up for about 3-5 hours. I found if I eat too early I end up eating way more in the day or sometimes it makes me feel ill. I've never been big on breakfast though either. Weekends I rarely eat until after 1 regardless of what time I get up
  • I have these options for streaming but you can't do that with an MP3 player so I'm looking for options to utilize that. Pandora is good but you have to listen for a while when you aren't busy so you can "like" and "not like" their songs to really get a good station.
  • We have Prime at my house but from what I was researching it didn't look like I could transfer the downloads to an MP3 player (if I read this correctly) and could only play on the Amazon music app. Is that the case?
  • I'm not opposed to paying for music. I just don't know where the best places to go are. I feel clueless these days when it comes to this.
  • Been at this slow and steady. This is a 45 lb difference. Hoping for about another 5. I'm at the point where I'm going to start focusing more on fitness and recomp as opposed to deficit.
  • The left was in June weighing in about 154, the right was 2/2015 at (ugh) 194. I have lost about 5 more lbs since the pic on the left.
  • Left was 6/15 155, Right was 2/14 194. I have lost 5 more lbs since the left pic was taken. Almost to goal!
  • I don't know why any of these would be weird because most of your food sounds good to me! Thanks for the ideas!
  • Personally speaking, I focused first on the weight and getting that in a good rhythm, then added exercise, then when I felt mentally ready quit the smoking. I use a Vapor when I have a craving but it's been quite easy to not even think about them. You have to find what works best for you though.
  • Just a thought as I am not a huge breakfast person myself, who says you have to eat "breakfast" foods for breakfast. Find something fast you like. Heck eat a sandwich if need be!
  • Tea helps too!
  • Make it fit. I drink a glass or two of wine almost every night and it hasn't affected my weight loss. Just measure it out so you know how much you are consuming. :)
  • Save extra calories for the weekend. Only eat a little bit of each indulgence. Exercise more on the weekends. There are options here. If you guys have always been foodies and want to continue that you can you just have to make smarter choices to make it work. You can't force your SO to change or want to, especially if they…
  • My phone is the Sprint LG G2. It updated to the Lollipop I believe. I am still having issues. I contacted fitbit but all they said was that it had a sync at X time...well ya it does it once in a while! Today so far I haven't been able to get it to sync yet.
  • There are lots of options to have your coffee without it being black. Try a coconut milk or almond milk, they don't have too many calories and you can add a lot. Try switching to a splenda or sweet n low (or something of that nature). There are also fat free/sugar free creamers you can use that are only 15 calories a…

  • New shoes! Because those will still fit when you lose weight but having new kicks to wear walking/jogging sure make me get up more!
  • Trutein protein powder is by far my favorite so far that I have tried. I haven't found a flavor yet that wasn't good (I haven't tried them all).
  • Sometimes when I start lacking the will power or the motivation I bribe myself. Like, if I run 2-3 times a week for a month straight I can buy a new pair of shoes. Helps me keep at it and after a couple times I'm back in the grove. Or buy something that you know you will fit in just a couple pounds lost.
  • I find that mine can get that way from certain shampoo/conditioner (even the higher end ones that are supposed to be good). One of the ways I have helped my hair recover from these is to do an overnight coconut oil mask. Rub that oil all over your hair and put a towel down or wear a shower cap and sleep with it in. Works…

  • I was just there two weekends ago, I came back and a week later was lighter than when I left! Lot's of walking and just not going overboard on the food/booze. We walked 32,000 steps one day!

  • Get a dog! Hahaha....well in all honesty I think that is the only reason I enjoying just running to run, otherwise find something you actually like. You don't HAVE to run to get in shape.
