  • For me, the hardest part if not snacking. Being a naturally anxious person, if I am bored or have a lot of energy, I want to eat. I know I'm not hungry, but I also know how much I enjoy food and eating is always an easy thing to do. Are you doing intermittent fasting? Does anyone else have input to give? I would love to…
  • When I said half a pound a week, I was averaging as a guesstimation. Some weeks I would lose weight, other weeks I wouldn't. And since I have another 60 pounds to lose, half a pound a week seems extremely low considering my body fat percentage. I wouldn't say it is hard for me to stick to. I don't really get hungry at all.…
  • Thank you, tcunbeliever and kpk54. This is helpful, as I misunderstood what sedentary indicates. Although I am on my butt most of the day, I am actually lightly active (as long as I take my hour walk) and didn't realize it.
  • By definition, even with me walking an hour every day, and strength training 3 times a week (MWF at home with no equipment, using my body weight), I am truly sedentary, not lightly active. I may average around 8000 steps a day, as I am literally sitting all day long besides when I get out to walk for an hour or I am…
  • Thanks for the input! I was set to 1600 calories a day up until my mom passed. I was losing about a half a pound a week up until then, which is REALLY slow for me. At the time I had my macros at 5% carbs, 80% fat, and 15% protein. I also wasn't exercising or walking as much, so I was extremely sedentary. This was about two…
  • Hi everyone! My name is Chris. I am 33 years old. I have been struggling with weight loss for years, but I am finally starting to get a good hold on it. I am down to 225 after losing 100 pounds, and have been utilizing the keto diet to maintain and continue losing weight. I guess you could say it isn't so much a diet for…
  • I must say, I am impressed and motivated by this! Great job!
  • I would be glad to support you! I am down 90 pounds, but still have a ways to go to my final goal. My first goal is only 10 pounds away! Feel free to add me.
  • A ski mask is always a great idea!
  • So amazing! Great job!!!
  • Heck yeah. Can't wait for this gem. Course, with how much I work and exercise, it will be tough to fit it in. But... I am sure I can make it work. Maybe treadmill while I play?
  • That is amazing! Good for you! Congrats!
  • Starvation, probably due to exercising on such reduced calories. Hang in there! Plateaus can be frustrating, but you can do it.
  • I log on pretty actively, and I am also looking for encouragement! I will be glad to add you!
  • Great job! This is so helpful and motivational!
  • Amazing job! Just incredible.
  • Hi! I am 29, and turning 30 soon. I enjoy video games and Dungeons and Dragons. I am currently down 85 pounds, and my first goal is to reach 220, with a secondary goal of 185. When I reach 185, my final goal is to drop my body fat % to a level that allows me to live comfortably, but still have an aesthetically pleasing…

Don't let it stop you from being who you can be. Exhaustion tells you when you ought to stop. You only reach your limit when you can go no further."
