Totally agree with ^^^^^^ I grew up being overweight and stayed overweight throughout most of my early 20s due to the medication I had to take for my health issue. My father would constantly point out how fat I was, and that I should eat little. He was really concerned I would never find a boyfriend! My parents started…

You are not alone! I have been working out 50-90 minutes per day for 2 months on a gazelle slide. I usually wet my whole t-shirt/yoga shirt after doing my work out so it's not just a mellow work out. On top of that, I've been counting calories carefully, drinking more water, and eating healthier than ever (started to…

Agree! If you want to keep track of your weight daily, morning after bathroom is the time to keep most consistent records of your weight, so do that everyday! I think it helps us being aware of any weight gain or weight loss (yay!) As for myself, I weight once in the morning after bathroom and record that down. I also…

Wow, do you mind sharing your methods of how you managed to go down to 112?

Thanks for sharing your successful story! I JUST started using my food scale! Glad to know I'm on the right track. And I also started to eat healthier instead of just counting calories. Have been working out daily for about a month and a half now.. hopefully I can start seeing results soon.

I take any comments to my weight loss as compliments. Doesn't matter if the comment contains positive or negative energy, as long as they notice I lost weight it'd motivate me more. I was down from 195 to 140 and not many people said anything in my first 40 pounds and I was really discouraged how not many people noticed…

I don't know if that would consider "unhealthy" not having enough calories input. But whenever I have a day I eat more than I should, I would work out extra 20 mins (to a total of 60 minutes) for the next few days and also eat healthier to balance it back.

Thanks for sharing! I think 130 is pretty fit and healthy for a 5'5 girl, maybe that's why you had such a hard time breaking it? I was down from 195 to 140 quite smoothly but then I just got stuck in 140-145 range. So I decided added 40-50 minutes exercise to my daily routine about a month ago when I realized I needed…

Hi all, this thread seems to be dead but I figured I'd reply and see if anyone else would join in. I'm 5'4 and 140 pounds. I' dropped from 195 Ib to 140 lb in the past two years but then stuck at this weight (140-145 lb) for almost 8 months now and I'm really frustrated. I have added exercise to my daily routine (40-50…

Congratulations on your success! I think as long as you're healthy, "ideal weight" doesn't really matter all that much. Instead of focusing on how much you weight, it's more important to sculpt the areas you're not satisfied with by working out (like sit-ups if you're unhappy with your abs.) But yes, like the others say,…
