  • I have arthritis in my left knee and have found out that I can not jog on pavement at all without the pain being horrible. What I have found is that I can walk really fast without pain, the eliptical is amazing due to no knee impact and you burn more than on treadmill. I find the bikes still cause me some pain but increase…
  • I have relied on them for taking meals to work that are 230calories or less; it helps with portion control and they are really tasty. The fact that the ones I have bought are on sale 5/10 makes them $2/meal and that is very affordable and better than what is called the wheel of death in the break room. If I have food…
  • goto search and type in pumpkin there are tons of posts already with recipes. Or goto internet search engine. Enjoy!!! I made the spice cake recipe that's a spice cake mix and a 15oz can of pumpkin, mix and bake, I didn't get mine baked through the first try; but I thought it was yummy at like 86 calories a peice.

  • Look up the master cleanse. I haven't tried it so I can't say but I thought it had the best reviews for what it would cost. I know others have bought juices for the ease in and out phases rather than juice their own. Good luck. And let me know if you do this and how it works.
  • Do you have to eat this as soon as you make it or can you put it in the freezer? Thanks. I just made some with cinnamin added to the vanilla almond milk and added splenda as well. I can't wait to have this as a snack later.
  • Why don't you try the 1990 calories a day and see what happens first. Trying to lose more just sets you up to feel crappy when you don't. 2lbs/week is healthier for your body. The first few weeks you will lose lots of water weight if you start drinking more as well. You've come to the right place to lose weight gradually…
  • I think wanting to fit in your clothes should motivate you, do you have the money to buy bigger clothes? Get up, get moving, you can do this. Only you can help you the most. We're here to help you but you need to help yourself. What re you waiting for? Goon get going!
  • I try to eat small meals every 3 hours.
  • I work a rotating swing shift, from days to nights and back to days with 2-3 days off in between. My first night I am usually over calories because of eating in the daytime then eating at night. I sleep the next day and eat around 4pm and then all night and the day I come off of nights I'll sleep until noon or 1 and only…
  • adding the carrot sounds good, I will try that the next time I make this. Thanks :)
  • I find that I drink more water by using them. I think you have to do what works for you. I also use 1/2 packet to 16.9oz bottle. I love the 4c brand teas and vitamin sticks. I have also brewed herbal teas and sweeten with honey. I will always use the packets, when I die I don't think people will say; if only she didn't…
  • Just walk, I can't run so I just walk and jog til I'm winded then walk some more. Asthma sucks!
  • personally I'd love to be 109, but I'm 150, it's just a number and I feel great. If you feel ok then don't worry about the "106" number. Eating less than 1200 isn't going to help you lose anything, you have to be pretty active in a day with 2 little ones, therefore more food to fuel that body. Good luck.
  • Go EAGLES!!!! I snack on celery and carrot sticks with peanut butter. We had wings today and then steak with mashed potatoes and corn for dinner today. I probably eat all day long watching football. I ate less yesterday because I knew there was a chance I would go over today. I usually have Michelob Ultra (95cals) but…
  • Just keep doing what you're doing, if you have a bad day, get back on track the next day. Don't get caught up in the numbers game: meaning the numbers on the scale. How do your clothes fit, do you see a difference in the mirror, use those as gages for where you're at as well. Good luck on your lifestyle change!!!
  • i save for the alcohol. I know Michelob Ultra has 95cals and allow myself 3 and still eat good for the day. You will find what works for you but find lower calorie drinks, you can still have a great time but don't need all the extra calories that some drinks contain. If you can't do that then work out and drink lots of…
  • I started using this site to track everything because I wanted to be able to lose weight and eat anything basically. How can you maintain weight loss if you can't eat "real food"? I don't go crazy and eat most healthy stuff and most days I don't hit the 1200cal/day to lose 2lbs per week. I work a rotating schedule from…
  • Thank you for all the advice. I truly don't think a cleanse will hurt. I drink plenty and eat fiber, it's not a matter of not going; I want to make sure the toxins are out. I believe my bloatedness was PMS, didn't see it coming. I had energy yesterday so perhaps it was just a funky day when I posted about feeling sluggish.
  • I am at 150 and I'm ok with it, that was my personal goal. I can wear a 10 or an 8 depending on how it's made. I'm 42 and had to work my butt off to lose weight this time around. I have no regrets and my waist is 32". I am at a healthy BMI when I put in the information. I have a roll on my tummy that may never leave,…
  • I drink lots of water all the time, I wouldn't stop drinking it during the cleanse as a matter of fact it recommends drinking lots of water in the reviews I've read. I am regular but I think there's still toxins left and think I should clean out anything left. Thanks for the advice.
  • I'll be sure to check out the book, thanks
  • Oh that sounds like a good idea. I like affordable!!!
  • Thanks. I'm not eating differently, nor will I change how I eat after a cleanse. I have worked hard since Jan 2011 and I don't want to gain the weight back.
  • I feel bloated and sluggish and think the cleanse will help.
  • If I know everything I'm going to eat for the day I log it all at once. I've written what I've ate and logged it all later. Lastly I log as I go somedays. I have an ipad and access the computer at work to log my food & exercise. When I have my food packed I know what I'll eat for the day. I have the hardest time when I'm…
  • I agree with the you are not eating too late group. Are you not losing weight? What else are you doing? Are you eating throughout the whole day? I work rotating swing shifts where I'm up all night eating and I reached my goal about a month ago.
