Agree to the nth degree! This is why we all need to do this for OURSELVES! Not anyone else! Stay focused on your goals and just smile and nod when you hear the negative feedback. You will only be happy when you have achieved YOUR goal...not anyone else's. Please do not let this deter your motivation! Hang in there! You are…

Three words...awesome, awesome, awesome!

That is exactly what I thought! I do have a desk job and I entered sedentary to get my BMR since it specifically asks what you do each day, not how much you exercise. Thanks for the confirmation! I knew that was way too many calories! I would have to change my activity level to "Very high" just from running to the fridge…

Thanks for the website! I went there and it states my Daily Calorie Need is 2493 calories! I input Very Active since I am doing both P90X and Insanity 5-6 days a week. That just seems like a ton of calories! The way I read that is I need to eat 2493 calories + my exercise calories every day! Is that right? The reason I ask…

I have definitely come to the realization that nutrition is the biggest factor in losing weight and getting toned. I have been working out religiously and diligently watching my nutrition. I never thought my nutrition was bad at all...however, I am not seeing the ripped stomach and defined arms I desire. I now know I have…

Love Peanut Butter!

That is awful! I think you should be proud of yourself for what you ordered! Screw her and know karma will get her back!

Congrats! Definitley a good feeling to hear comments on hard work!

What do you use as a post workout recovery drink? There is no denying that good post workout nutrition is important.
-
The recommendation is to drink within one hour of working out. What are examples of glycogen depleting workouts? I would assume Insanity and P90X do just that.

I eat my exercise calories, but I usually am still at a deficit (1500 calories net, 1800-2000 calories total). I was trying to reduce my carb in take to 30% but am finding it near impossible, especially considering the amount in the R&R Formula. I never have trouble sleeping! My head hits the pillow and I am OUT like a…

I have heard the Paleo diet is something I should go on to lose the last few pounds lingering. I am an "hour glass" shape that I guess needs less carbs and more fat and protein. Is that the premise of the Paleo diet? What do you eat during the day?

Ditto for me on the peanut butter! I used to feel the same way about chocolate milk, but I gave it up two years ago and have yet to have sip since! To be honest, I don't miss it all that much!

Ditto! Can't wait to hear of your experience! Best of luck to all of you marathoners (and you half ones too!). I saw a funny sticker the other day...someone had 13.1 on the back of the car. As I got closer it read, "Because I am only HALF crazy!" Thought it was cute!

Touche!

I have one week left of Insanity and I love it! I am no poster child for the program, but I feel so much better and I know I am way more toned than before. I feel so accomplished after completing each and every workout!

Bake and eat?!?!? Hell no...I eat the cookie dough raw!

Peanut butter helps to sustain my hunger. I put it on apples or english muffins. Almonds is another good snack that is surprisingly very filling!
-
Not sure if you will see the same results as when you did it everyday, but doing something is a helluva lot better than doing nothing. Do what you can!

I sort of have the same issue...my husband is not keen on social networking. He doesn't say it too often, but I know he doesn't like it when I am on Facebook or MFP for any great length of time. I believe he is also nervous (I am speculating a little here) that I am going to meet someone online. He has never said anything…

I could be wrong, but I attribute a "rest day" as a day that I am not working out. On those days, I tend to eat less calories than the days that I am working out.

Welcome! You are a princiPAL on MyfitnessPAL! haha...so cheezy but couldn't resist!
-
I second that!

I personally love the P90X Peak Performance Bars.
-
Kudos to you for putting yourself as a priority! Keep up the great work! You will get there!

I did a 3-day cleanse that began on a Saturday and ended on a Monday (a work day). I was fine. How many days are you "cleansing" for? What kind of cleanse are you doing? I did a 3-Day Shakeology cleanse and I was not in the bathroom every 30 minutes, if that is what you are afraid of.

or you can have your nuts in peanut butter...even more calories and "good" fat! (I just realized, that sounds kind of bad, but I think you know what I mean. )

Anytime you use your large muscle groups, you will burn a ton more calories. Try some squats and/or lunges. Take the stairs any chance you get. Hope you mend quickly!
