I do this at least a few times a week!

100% coconut water for potassium. It's very refreshing and a good substitute for juice or other sugary drinks!

Rowing machine! Full body workout and you get your cardio in. I do this on my "rest" days from running.

Same for me! I am getting married at the end of this year and that's what motivated me to start losing weight and getting back in shape. I am 5'2" and eating 1220cals per day. More if I work out.

Hey everyone! Had a minor strain in a tendon or muscle or something in my foot from running last week so wasn't able to get a lot of miles in this week which was a bummer :( But it's all better now and I ran 3.5 miles today! Hopefully I can still make my goal this month.

I will be the first to admit that Truvia is not the best tasting sugar replacement but I don't usually add sugar to a lot of things so Truvia works just fine for me. I've heard though, that it doesn't work too well when using it as a sugar substitute for baking.

These are the things I eat to satisfy my chocolate cravings: a piece of dark chocolate, skinny cow chocolate candies (110-120cals), chocolate vitatops (100cals), Jello sugar free chocolate pudding (60 cals), emerald's cocoa roasted almonds (100 calorie packs), or 90 calorie chocolate flavored fiber one bars. If you do end…

I love Better N Peanut butter and I get a jar of this at my local Trader Joe's in the peanut butter section. It tastes really good but is half the calories! http://www.betternpeanutbutter.com/index.php

I second this. It's really helpful to have friends that keep you accountable and help you. It also keeps me motivated when I see everyones updates! Good luck...don't be so hard on yourself, tomorrow is a new day!

Did this for the first time today! I have no idea how some of you out there can sprint at 12mph...I started my first sprint at 8.0mph and almost flew off the treadmill haha! So I had to keep my "sprints" at 7.5mph. Guess I just have to work my way up.

@Cooriander - Good luck on your 10k! Did HIIT Training today and ran another 2.3 miles!

I'm 5'2" and recently was about 122 lbs. Currently I am 116 and eating 1200 cals but will be increasing it soon as I am easing into maintenance. I try to exercise 4-6 days a week and I eat my exercise cals back.

No matter what, DON'T GIVE UP! :)

I am also working on the last few lbs and wanting to tone up a bit. Currently I am at 1200 cals/day but will be increasing that soon to ease into maintenance. I aim to workout 6 days a week but it usually ends up being about 4 times a week. I am currently doing the Couch to 10k program (on week 8!) and I also take…

If you have a desk job, I would keep the activity level as sedentary and add any exercise you do to your diary.

Instead of using just water to cook my oatmeal, I do it half water and half unsweetened vanilla almondmilk and I cook it for a few minutes longer than the suggested time. Makes your oatmeal thick and fluffy! You can choose your toppings from there but I like mine with a little bit of cinnamon and stevia.

Yummy! Bump

Glad you like it! I use a Couch to 10k app for IPhone too and LOVE it. Good luck on your training!

Yes, you can definitely do it. After you're done training for your 5k and ran the race, you can use this Bridge to 10k training program. It's 6 weeks long and meant for those who have completed a 5k! http://blog.bluefinapps.com/about-bridge-to-10k/
