  • 1 gram per 1lb of lean body mass is the most common equation. If you know your body fat percentage then you can figure out your lean mass to figure out how much protein you need.
  • I have that problem even when I'm not trying to lose weight. I fluctuate up to 5 pounds. I dont worry about it much as long as the low number keeps going down. I eat way to much sodium though.
