Awesome. Congrats. You have the next race to get under 30 minutes!!!
-
WOW. That is all I can say.

I know i'm late to this, but I would love to be a part of the group. I just started running 3 months ago today, and I have accomplished so much (3 5k runs in the book, plus my first 10k is next month). I just signed up for my first half-marathon on 4/22/12.
-
That is awesome. Great job. I'm aiming at a half-marathon next April.
-
AWESOME. You are an inspiration. I hope to get there someday.

Awesome!! I hope to get there someday. Keep up the great work.
-
Thanks. I've lost 24.4%!! It does put things in perspective :)
-
Wow. I'm using you as inspiration. I just started running in late June. Never ran in my life. Doing 5k's now. Getting ready for my first 10k in November. I would love to do a half marathon next year.
-
AWESOME. I just hit 60 myself on Sunday. Keep up the great work :)

It doesn't matter what anyone says about what your time "should" be. Just run at your pace, try to do a little better every time, but most important, HAVE FUN!!
-
Congrats!!! I just got under 200 myself a few weeks back. It's an amazing feeling. Keep up the great work.
-
I can almost say goodbye to 190's!!!

Wow!! And I'm freaking out because i'm doing a 5K run two days in a row next month.
-
I felt the exact same way you did. Congrats. Wait until you cross the finish line of your first 5k race :)
-
Thank you for the great story. Inspirational.

I don't like eating before races (I've only done two, so I am a rookie too!!) From what I have read, Granola Bars seem to be good. Toast with egg whites. Something light. Drink water too. I'm running tomorrow as well. Have a great time!!!
-
GREAT JOB! It's a great feeling to finish your first race. I did my first 5K on August 20th (34:09). Just did second one last Saturday (33:17). And they are VERY ADDICTIVE! I have signed up for 5 more between now and the end of October!!!
-
Walk by The Foo Fighters. Reminds me of my journey to getting in better shape.
-
Have a great time and enjoy every second of it. The key is to finish the race, do not worry about the time. You can worry about that after you do a few of them (they are addictive. I just finished my second one yesterday and I have already signed up for 6 more thru October!!)
-
I went from 36.9 in May to 29.1 today. Much more work to do!!!
-
It's the best feeling, isn't it? I could never run either, until C25K. Keep up the great work!!
-
I started C25K at the end of June (literally couldn't jog to the end of my street) This morning I finished my second 5K run. As you will see from all the messages, it is a great program. Just realize that it's NOT about how fast you run, it's about finishing. After a few 5k runs, then you can look at improving your time.
-
I just got back from my second 5K run. I love my music. I actually create a music setlist in a time that I want to match or beat (For today I had 34 minutes of music and finished race in 33:17).
