Just finished week 1 of Hal Higdon's Marathon Novice 1 Training Program. Has anyone used this program before? Like to get your thoughts. Did you follow it exactly, or change things around a little? Running NSV
On June 1st, I couldn't run past 10 houses. Today I did 10 miles. I think i'm ready for the Disney Half Marathon in January. Thank you everyone at MFP!!!

Just hit the BIG 7-0
Just got on the scale and it read 179.6!!!! Exactly 70.4 pounds lost. Cannot remember when I was in the 170's. Good day :)

My NSV for today
Just got results from my bloodwook. My cholesterol was 220 last October. Today it is 174. Best part is that I did it with no medication!! Thanks everyone for the inspiration :)

NSV- 3 Month Runner
Today is my 3-month Anniversary of becoming a "runner". On 6/24, I jogged to the end of my street and had to stop. This morning I jogged 6.5 miles in 1:10. Thanks to everyone on MFP for the encouragement and inspiration!! :smile:
