I properly started crossfit this week by varying the WODs each day using the WOD drive mobile apps. I consider myself to be pretty fit but notice that i have gained some weight. is this normal in the beginnng? I'm trying not to get too disheartened.

I'm on Week 2, Day 4 of Alpha and last week took some before pictures and again last night done the same and OMG what a difference a week makes, some of my belly fat has went and my side bits too. Obviously, combined with a healthy diet and i've also done spinning and some weights but on the whole what an excellent program!

Day 2 tonight of week 1, very hard last night but determined to stick to the programme. 25 minutes is just ideal! :)

I am on week two (second round) of month 2 but only doing it 3 times a week as I also do body pump, spinning, running and HIIT training so don't want to overwork my muscles. I've not had any diet soda in nearly a month and notice a massive difference. I have replaced it with lots of water and herbal teas which makes me feel less bloated. Best thing i ever done!

I'm doing insanity at the moment but incorporate this into my normal routine which involves, body pump, spinning, tabata training and i allow myself one day off. Well day 3 of month 2 tonight is max cardio and conditioning so not sure what that entails but also done body pump this morning so i think my body will feel the after effects! Definately need to eat more though...i was 720 remaining yesterday but struggled to think of anything to eat!

i'm on my second day into month two and so far have lost 8lbs and 4% body fat down. Really excited to see the end result, plus with doing my body pump etc..there's no reason why I shouldn't be toned! :) Good luck everyone :) H

Thanks guys for your support, slightly discouraged. I turn 30 at the end of may and have a 2 week holiday to turkey and frightened Incase I still look FAT! Starting to panic now to the extent I don't want to go anymore, it's so depressing. I just really hope this programme works :(
