I did 30 days once before. Lost 10 lbs during that time and 2 dress sizes. I am now restarting Insanity and incorporating other activities (c25k, classes at the local gym, and free weights). Good luck everyone - add me via the app :-)

Brand new Insanitizer!!! I'm on day 2 of week 1 and WOW is all I can say...My legs and calves hurt like hell. All other exercise videos feel like a walk in the park...Insanity takes the cake!!! I'm hoping I can do day 3 tomorrow. Good luck to everyone.

Okay, I *think* I'm struggling with my caloric intake. I've followed the formula from this... http://www.teamunify.com/cast/__doc__/Insanity Nutrition Guide.pdf starting on page 10.

I'm a female, 5'2, currently 134.4 and 33 years old. My goal is to lose and my final caloric intake (with moderate activity) shows 1633. Keep in mind, that's with the 500 calorie deficit intended to lose.

    My two questions are this....

    1. Why does that seem like so many calories? I adjusted my calorie intake to 1390 because I seem satisfied at the end of the day with that. I just don't want to do any harm to my body or have my body store fat because it thinks I'm in starvation mode.

    2. When using this formula, it's calculating your activity level. Do you think it's because it A - assists with the metabolic burn each day or B - it's assuming how many calories you will more thank likely burn during a workout.

I'm asking because on MFP, I have 1390 listed as my goal. When I do exercise though, I add those calories burned. So, some days I'm under my goal of 1390 by 250 (because of exercise) and other days I'm right at my goal of 1390 because I'll eat that 250 I burned.

I know, this is so confusing! I just want to be sure that it's okay to eat those calories back some days without ruining my goal of weight loss.

    I hope this makes sense!!

It's okay to eat your exercise calories back. Personally since I've started Insanity I'm literally hungry all the time. Which I think is a good sign that my body needs more to fuel my workouts. Faster metabolism is good. Anyways, I sometimes eat as low as the 1300's and I'm okay but when I eat closer to 1600-1700 I feel really good. I don't eat my exercise calories back often. I mean you just have to find what works for you. I've tried out so many caloric intakes and I still haven't found the one that gives me the most energy yet. When I calculated mine I think it was in the 2000's or really close to it. I'm trying to work my way up to 1800-1900 but it's just the food choices that's my thing.

So tonight is Plyometric Cardio Circuit. This will be my third time doing this particular work out. My goal is to knock it out without breaking...before the water break! :noway: Wish me Luck!

Quoting myself..:blushing: I did better and made it through the warm up and two sets of cardio before having to really stop and catch my breath. I am still struggling with those stupid planks...I HATE THEM!!!!

I also noticed my calories burned for each work out goes down each time. And here I thought I was stepping it up more. urgh

Day 12 today and I really struggled! Felt like I was in week 1 again, but I made it!! Not looking forward to pure cardio and abs tomorrow! I've stopped hurting though so that's a positive. But I've lost no weight in 2 weeks, I've got enough to lose so its abit disheartening. Anyone else found it hard to lose the pounds??

I have also hit a plateau and was litterally in tears to my sister about it. I have changed my diet to the fat shredder 50/30/20 but didn't stick to it the past two days for dinner. It is a new day!!!! Lets start fresh. We are all human.

    Doing day 12 tonight!!!

Felt much better today! And I took my measurements, found I've lost about half an inch to an inch around my chest, waist and hips! But still no weight loss... Got to keep going, it's got to come off sooner or later!! X

Just finished month 1 and I can't be happier about it. It sounds like some of you are frustrated that the weight isn't coming off quickly but let me tell you - take photos! You can see and feel a difference in your body by just the end of the first month. From what I've read on other posts about insanity, the 2nd month is where you really turn it up and start to see results on the scale as well. Push through!

feel free to add me, we can support each other :)

I finished my first round of Insanity on March 20, but never did the fit test. I wished I had when I would see people posting their progress. So I'm doing it this go 'round. I just finished week two so tomorrow is the second fit test and I'm excited to see improvement.

Hey guys! I am super excited to find more people using the Insanity program! I am thankfully on a rest day, but tomorrow I pick it up with my first day of week 4! Ahhhh! I am worried about Month 2 after the Recovery Week, anywho add me! I could always use more people to talk to about the workouts I think I am driving my family nutz. Oh and especially vetrans, I am trying to make sure my first trial will be a success. I just don't wanna quit this!

I am on week two (second round) of month 2 but only doing it 3 times a week as I also do body pump, spinning, running and HIIT training so don't want to overwork my muscles. I do however, feel I can keep up with the pace even sometimes my hear rate reaches a max of 174..defo makes your fitness levels shoot through the roof and the results are amazing providing you stick to the plan of clean eating :)

Day 17...so proud of myself for making it past two weeks...the furthest I have made it!! Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs tonight...yes I will split em up a little. One right after work and one before bed. Think it would kill me to do them together lol! Also on my second week of C25K.

Glad to see you guys hanging in there!!
