i love richard simmons. everything about his videos is a win.

Ok, but the seasonal yoplait flavors are awesome. I like the apple pie one year round, and the pumpkin pie one they do this time of year is amazing.

when i was nursing i ate pretty good sized meals, and was snacking in between. im gonna hazard a guess... i was probably eating 2000 per day or so at the time. i am 5'4 though.

i have no idea how much you should be eating being that short, and nursing. however, i have good luck controlling my hunger when i eat a large percentage of my calories from protein.
-
in my book that is just a large snack. I have eaten amounts on a binge that would make you faint!
-
yeah that looks like a lame meal for sure.
-
OP- you so crazy.

I am probably just annoying, but whenever I think of the raw food diet, I think, ugh, so cold. All that room temp and below fare is fine in summer, but when its snowing outside I do not want salad, thanks.

Wait this is only for a week?! I have had to eat like that for months on end before. You will be okay OP.

bananas (is fruit sugar ok?) boiled chicken breast, ground turkey, white rice, boiled potatoes, unsweetend rice milk (plain rice dream is my favorite when my stomach is being a *kitten*) rice krispies cereal, cooked carrots, canned peas.... maybe some chicken broth? Try to add a little oil (like canola) to your rice and…

i agree with peaches. I think people can develop compulsions or addictions to behavior. I have been known to binge eat under certain circumstances, and it isnt the food itself that causes the binge, its my crappy coping mechanism.

random- I love this community. I love that a person can UN-ironically love olive garden breadsticks here. And marshmallow peeps, and kraft singles, and whatever else you personally enjoy.

The foods you eat are fine. I tend to respond to these "picky eater" threads a lot because I have an autistic child who has an extremely limited diet. I do believe it is possible to have a healthful diet despite food limitations. I see that you enjoy beef and chicken, and raw spinach with dressing, a few different fruits,…

you are gonna have to cut back on another macro to make room for protein. cut down on alcohol, carbs, or fat.
-
i have a few nutrition textbooks from my local goodwill. might be worth a check.
-
yeah I found out I am a bit shorter (crap I am already short) than I thought I was recently. BOO.
-
i buy low carb tortillas for my son, because they are full of fiber, and he is texture sensitive and autistic, so like, fibrous fruits and veggies are NOT happening. I recommend them to a lot of parents with children who have similar issues. Mission low carb flour variety, specifically.

texas roadhouse rolls are ammmaaazzzinnngg. damn.

first off- I also work in a restaurant, and I definitely take advantage of my free meal. I would recommend checking out the calorie counts on mcd's food, quite a bit of it is reasonable. If you are dead set on bring lunch, I would recommend simple stuff like sandwiches, canned soup, etc.

i ate cheese on toast for breakfast, and am currently a skinny lady. come at me bro.
-
eat what you already like, only count the calories.
-
those bread sticks are no joke. yum.
-
natural peanut butter is just nasty, and i have tried several brands. Its like grainy/oily...yet also dry. Blech.
-
i like rice cakes, but saltines are cheaper, and also low cal, so I use those in my things i used rice cakes for. (spreading peanut butter on, scooping up tuna salad, or serving a peice of cheese on.

i dont know about all american kids, but in my house, we ate jif daily. on a banana or piece of toast for breakfast, in a sandwich at school, on crackers for snacks.
-
meh, just start eating at maintenance. you can always change your mind later, and resume eating at a deficit... if you want to.
-
first thought- protein bars, like quest, in a dessert flavor.
-
the military diet, isnt that the one that utilizes the fat burning super food, hot dogs?
-
we used to call it "slimfart" in my house. If you want to drink one of your meals, why not just a glass of milk?
