I use a spread margerine without transfats or hydrogenated oils. Plenty of brands on the market these days, much cheaper/lower cal than butter. But its a taste thing, you either like marg or you dont.

I have a BMI of 20, and I feel that if I lost more weight i'd cross into that "unhealthfully thin" look. Really I dont even want to lose 5 more lbs. This is the lowest weight I feel comfortable with.

I will eat egg whites mixed with a whole egg, but the whites plain are kind of rough to eat. I prefer the whole eggs when they fit my goals

As a weight loss maintainer, I say this- I didnt want to start anything I wasnt going to keep up with. samesies. when someone says they are a foodie, I take that to mean they are stuck up and pretentious about their food choices. I love food too you know, and my food doesnt have to be gourmet or expensive to be satisfying and delicious.

I dunno, it depends. When I'm stressed I crave specific binge friendly foods, but unless I'm fat deficient.... Or possibly fat and calcium deficient? I binge on Kraft singles too often. Also bread-y things.

A friend I know lost 70 lbs or so, on a work weight loss challenge. He said after the first month it was just habit to avoid snacking, and drinking soda. He also started walking to work. That was 6 years ago, and he is still pretty slim.

Eat less complicated food. Most of the stuff I eat is simple to prepare, and if I order out I have my order's content and calories in my recipes section, so I can order a 500 calorie meal from most fast food restaurants with no trouble.
