I totally understand where you're coming from. I too sometimes see a slimmer me, and then my self loathing creature makes an appearance, I just wish I could see what other people see and not the 'overweight' me.

I truly feel your pain! I've not lost now for nearly 6 weeks (7lbs to lose), its VERY frustrating.....

Do you know, I think you're right, I'm obsessed with weighing myself. I weigh twice each morning & night more at weekends :-( I know I'm not exceeding my intake & I'm eating at a deficit but wow it's seriously sooooo frustrating grrrrrrrr!

Anyone else got anymore ideas?

I've been "dieting" since February and lost 12lbs and then it just stopped, fluctuating slightly up & down since then. I have considered a heavy lifting programme which I may give a shot at in 2 weeks time when I know I have the gym to myself at work but currently I only do cardio. I'm 5' 7" & currently weigh 153lbs as of…

Thanks all, I'll just have to be patient, I tried on a skirt that I bought last summer and even though it zips, it's a bit too snug to go out in, that's how I know I need to lose those dreaded 7lbs. Going to try and eat more too as I always seem to be hungry but anxious about that as I certainly don't want to gain anymore…

Potato peelings, they are the devil! Along with cold, wet teabags, yeuch!!!

I pre-log my next day's diary the night before, always ensuring I build my snack in. I then tweak as and when I need to. Generally weekends are the most difficult for me as we're either out shopping or at home doing the house work and don't seem to have the time to plan ahead only for our evening meal. However I do like to…

I tweak the recipe each time I recreate it as the quantities are rarely the same.

Set yourself small goals, nothing too ambitious but achievable, say to start with 1lb a week. You may lose more to start with, but for me that was a big bonus to lose more than my monthly target but that's what makes me tick! Move more, just a small walk to start with, you can then increase pace or distance or both. If you…

I use the recipe option frequently, I find it easier to do it this way rather than adding food items individually. However when I recreate the recipe, I just tweak the ingredients in the recipe as I can never get the exact weights from previously, for example a lamb curry recipe has sweet potato in it, the last time I made…

Anyone?

Roast leg of lamb, dry roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and gravy. Fat free Greek yogurt with white chocolate Options powder mixed in & fresh raspberries. Not bad for 600ish calories

Wow that's some going and your makeup is fabulous!

Just thinking the same thing, delicious!

Cheshire lady here :-)

I use mine every day without fail, it's my friend :-)

2 Nairns oatcakes with 4g Nutella sandwiching them together, great for 94 calories. Not a bad alternative to a chocolate digestive either :-)

Wouldn't be without mine :-)

Thanks all. I think I need to relax rather than stress about it and make sure I eat my calories using healthy options instead of "empty calories" just to use them up. At the back of my mind I like to think I've got some left in the bank just incase I need a treat, that said I always add a Kitkat in my snacks at the…
