I have been working at losing weight since Aprilish and have lost 20 lbs! However, I have not been able to see it. But yesterday I walked passed my full length mirror and saw my legs and butt out of the corner of my eye and thought "DAMN she looks good!" When I looked properly it went away and I saw how I always see myself (fat and gross). But for that split second I think I actually saw myself for how I actually look and I need to cling to it to get my body dysmorphia to shut up
Sorry if that made absolutely no sense, its kinda rambly.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I too sometimes see a slimmer me, and then my self loathing creature makes an appearance, I just wish I could see what other people see and not the 'overweight' me.0
