Thanks for your responses, especially from those who have actually tried them. IMO its not too expensive if you actually look at the pricing, about $15 per day and I already spend that! I see there is not much love on here for them.

Interesting, I love my whirleypop but hadnt thought of using spray oil. I put cayenne and parmesan mixed on my popcorn.

Totally agree, I'm hooked on Jazzercise. I love the low impact classes (have plantar fasciitis) and strike, fusion, strength60. An hour is done before you know it and you sweat alot.

If anyone else responds I would love to know how you track the alternate forms of classes (ie. Strength60, Core, etc). For Dance Mixx I just call it Aerobics and select high or low impact but I feel like some of the classes should count for more than just straight cardio.

I only do it with brownies, you substitute applesauce for the oil (equal measurements, 1cup=1cup). In my opinion it makes them even better! Very moist.

I would join another gym. I would get so bored if all I used was an elliptical. And ditto on the $300 one being flimsy.

Sounds like you're making excellent progress. I'm 5'11 and want to lose about 100 more. I find when I add strength training I get better results. I don't think you need to wait. I've heard that when you do strength training that you burn more calories while resting so I think that is incentive enough to do it!

I've actually heard the opposite, only eat fruits after 2. I think it was in the South Beach book or the 17 Day Diet book. But I agree with the others, eat fruit anytime!

I try not to, but of course there are sometimes those days. Mainly because I don't trust the accuracy. For example, two days in a row I did 5 mins on the elliptical trainer and got two different calorie amounts in my tracker. And this is an exercise where it doesn't ask level or speed when you enter it. --Claire
