Would like to hear the replies to this.....I am contemplating starting this myself but don't want to end up eating back all the calories so thinking maybe just rigorous weight training or a less rigorous program like the T25.....actually leaning towards T25 along with weight training to get a good mix of cardio and weights.

If you are only working out for 30 minutes a day then it's not a problem to work out everyday IMO.

IF is great if and only if it fits your individual eating habits, I am the type that isnt hungry in the morning therefore I have to force myself to eat breakfast and the other smaller meals throughout the day when going by the standard 6 meal a day advice that is force fed as the only proper way to diet.....then I am still…

Yes you can lose weight as long as you watch diet of course.....I find a strict diet is MUCH easier when I am not doing cardio and doing weights just feels better afterwards...I feel strong instead of weak and tired.....and the muscle will stay where it's at when you lift to lose weight instead of being stripped off along…

DING! DING! DING! We have a winner, couldn't have said it better myself.....it's a lifestyle not a 10 day program!

Constant change is the key to staying motivated....for me anyways.....I started off three months ago doing nothing but cardio......about a month in did half weights and half cardio.....now I am doing almost nothing but weights. Diet is also important to switch up, even if it's a cheat day once a week to get the energy…

I totally agree, I have been mentally arguing with myself about this very subject.....that being said, I must admit that I dont log properly every day....on the 1200 calorie days I do, but I have started giving myself 1 or 2 days a week to refeed and I am not nearly as vigilant about logging on a cheat day-so its not as…

I love diet food!!!! I actually ate pretty healthy before but just needed to learn to practice portion control and to quit drinking alcohol.....anyway.....Carrots and hummus....specifically low cal "Eating Right" brand hummus from Safeway's various store chains. It's my lunch pretty much every single day.

Track calories and don't be afraid to change it up.....I constantly change my diet from calorie restricted for a few days followed by a cheat day followed by a few days of IF (intermittent fasting). This goes for exercise as well.....fight the temptation to overdo cardio.....do a few days of intense cardio followed by a…

Low calorie hummus and mini carrots.....feels you up!

Taking medications is a fools errand unless you are actually fixing underlying medical issues.....phentermine, etc is a quick fix at best that will NOT LAST and at worst will kill you. If you have an under active thyroid then it may make sense to medicate but even that should be done as a last resort IMO. I have been…

Realizing that with sky high blood pressure (around 145/95 WITH meds!!), cholesterol at 290, on anti-anxiety meds and drinking EVERYDAY I was probably going to die before 50 and actually being resigned to my fate....a very scary place to be mentally! Thank GOD I finally snapped out of it and took control....I am now off…

Starvation mode is not a myth but perhaps it should be called something else......it's basically just your body becoming more efficient at basic metabolic functions after prolonged restriction of calories in order to preserve itself. The body does not understand that you are dieting for health, it is planning for the…
