I work in an ICU and burn 2800 to 3000 calories on days I work a 12 (according to my Bodymedia). I don't count it as exercise though, but I do eat accordingly and try to keep my deficit approx. 1000 calories below.

I like Optimum Nutrition. Banana is what I'm drinking right now, mixed with coconut milk. I use them to help meet my protein requirements. I eat a lot of meat, eggs, etc., but I'm shooting for at least 120g a day and the shakes definitely help. I usually drink one per day, and always after I strength train.

I agree. You should see a GI doc, not a family doc. Your primary doc will probably just refer you anyway. They are specialists for a reason.

I'm starting today! I've started this program a few times and have never completed it. But I saw results almost immediately every time. I'm excited to get started! Burn 1 for me today! I may substitute other cardio, like TF, but the weight training is where it's at for me.

I am doing my own hybrid. I am doing 2 CLX and 4 TF per week. I think I need more cardio at this point but my body loves strength training as well. I am on my 3rd week of Burn. I think I'll continue to Push and probably go back to Burn because I don't really like Lean either. Stay Extreme everybody!!!

What I do is bend with a flat back until I feel the stretch in my hamstrings... then try to focus on my hamstrings to pull myself up, keeping my back flat and abs in. I think it's a good idea to get the form down without weights or using light weights first, then move up. I love deadlifts! You'll get it!

I am in the last week of Push phase. I'll be done Saturday :) My weight plateaued a bit, but I've dropped a few in the past couple of weeks. I'm excited for Lean!

My scale has been stuck lately, but I am losing inches and more importantly, I'm feeling so much stronger and healthier. I'm in this for the long haul (although I would be thrilled to wake up tomorrow at my goal weight lol). I have one more week of Push and then I start Lean.

I have Weirder adjustable weights that I got from Kmart. They have a set that goes from 2.5lbs to 12.5 lbs on sale right now for $50. They also have the 5-25lbs ones but they are $50 each. I just ordered 2 of the larger size because I've outgrown the 12.5s but it's a nice starter set.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of people believe that dietary fat leads to body fat. I love fats. I mix coconut oil into my oatmeal every day.

@Daisy, I say as long as your doing it, it really doesn't matter how and when. My work and school schedules vary so much that I have to be flexible. But I'm at least trying to get in the 5 exercises each week, and an extra cardio day somewhere in there during the week. Welcome back!
