I have been on antidepressants for most of the last 14 years-mainly Celexa. The first few years I tried several times going off (I first experienced problems requiring treatment when I was pregnant with my second child-that was rough!!! ) but I was not successful. Since then I have become much more physically active and I…

I can totally relate. You walk in that theater and all you can smell is POPCORN! Tomorrow is another day. When I'm trying to diet it's best I just stay from the theater!

Last year halfway through my training for my first half marathon I developed shin splints. I was doing some training sessions with a physical therapist to help me with an ankle problem I had for years, and he told me immediately go out and get calf sleeves, I think it's similar to the compression/sports socks that Jillian…

I'm thinking it's probably a waste of money, but if anyone out there has tried it?

I have heard that it can be caused by eye fatigue, have you been reading more lately or anything else that could cause more tired eyes? I have had that occassionally and it drives me crazy too.

Congrats on your weight loss so far! That is fantastic! I really love this site, like everyone else- it's free , and so easy to use and you can find great ideas and support. I tried the WW point system w/o actually joining two years ago before I found this site, I was successful at first then my weight loss seemed to…

I have a different Polar, I think it's the F4. Anyway mine was starting to go wacko on and off and I was training for a triathlon at the time so I didn't want to be without, so I bought a Polar FS1 on sale for not much more than an additional strap from Polar cost, so I have and additional watch(a lesser model but it will…

Hi there! Just another person out there that knows about depression- I am in my mid forties and have been on antidepressants for most of the past 12 years. I have tried going off a couple of times and I have accepted that my life is way better when I'm on them and that it's not my fault, it's biochemical. I am lucky that…

Hi, I tried Hoodia after doing some research on it. I also understood that there are few out there that are pure and good quality. I tried one of them, can't remember which it was a year and a half ago. I really thought it helped. Unfortunately I found out I'm allergic to it -a week after starting it I had problems with…

Hi and welcome. I've been a member for nearly 3 weeks now and it has helped me lot. I've lost about 3 and a half lbs so far. I am like you, I don't need to lose a tremendous amount of weight, I set my goal at 15 but if I accomplish that I probly should go for five more. I have really needed to lose this weight for at least…

I say get the scale, but he's right people can get too obsessive about weighing themselves. I usually limit myself to once a week, except this last week I hadn't dropped an ounce so I cut my carbs and made sure I did a hard cardio workout, I just felt like my weight must be down a little so I weighed myself three days…

Congrats to Eve and Vontreesa!!! Way to go! After the first week of dieting I don't know what happenned exactly but was up .4lbs. I was discouraged but didn't give up, three days later I was down 3 lbs!!! I was very very bad yesterday, so bad I couldn't even bring myself to enter my cals. But todays a new day- getting…

I do a lot of the Lean Cuisines, I think they are pretty healthy as well as tasty. I do agree, especially for dinner they are on the small side. I always have intentions of pairing them with a nice tossed salad and low fat dressing, but then I'm not much of a salad person(I wish I was). When it gets a little cooler out I…

Hi, Welcome! I am new myself and I am finding it really user friendly and a great new approach to counting calories and sticking to excersise. I am 45 and I would like to lose 15 1bs. I have been trying to do that for the last 5 years with very little success. I don't know if it's an age thing or a certain medication I'm…

I have been on Celexa and Lexapro(not at the same time of course) for the past 5 or 6 years after being on Prozac for a number of years. Ever since I made the switch I seem to gain weight much more easily and have a much more difficult time taking it off. I never mentioned it too my doctor as it's not a huge amount of…
