Thanks for the great tips! A banana and some warm-up is probably the way to go.

Perhaps I need to take my water bottle in the pool and stop for a drink on occasion. I don't have the spare time in the morning to wait an hour or I'd consider it. Thanks!

It usually catches me the last 15 minutes of my swim. I've been at it for almost 4 months now.

Sounds good. However, kind of ironic that one would use low-sodium broth, than salt to taste. Just sayin'...

It's probably just water weight and will come off, but for me it usually takes about two days.

Great attitude! Keep it up and continue to believe in yourself and the path you're on and it will happen! Good luck!

Sounds like some great apps to check out - keep them coming! :)

Nicely done and congratulations! That's about the weight loss that was noticeable for me too. Keep it up!

Welcome, Iona. I like your concept of "shifting" weight! :) I also have hypothyroidism, along with sleep apea. Both have contributed to weight gain for me as well. Feel free to add me for moral support and I wish you the best of luck on your MFP journey. It's a great site and a very supportive community!

I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine and I also suffer from Hypothyroidism which messes with my weight. I keep to a healthy diet and exercise in the mornings and I have energy to go all day. I've even cut down on my coffee consumption. Best of luck!

Everyone deserves a night away. I would look for the healthiest choice you can. If it's a big serving, only eat a portion of it. Don't ignore it though - I suggest logging it, even if it's way over your recommended nutrition levels. You'll may have some water gain for a day or two, but just eat smart to make up for it the…

I'm a fellow Wisconsinite working on losing 73 lbs. Welcome to the community and feel free to add me as a friend!

No Old Yeller so much, but It's a Wonderful LIfe gets me pretty choked up!

I've been grilling Tilapia lately and it hasn't been fishing. Sometimes it's the luck of the draw... Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb seasons, with lemon juice and a touch of cayenne pepper. Make over the grill on tinfoil until flaky. YUM!

I have an iPhone as well and have asked tech service. They say it's currently being worked on to add this feature, but they can't promise a release date yet.

I'm a huge fan of the Cranberry Balsamic myself!

I'm just getting over a cold and had to enter the generic cough drops/lozenges that is in the database for my Halls cough drops. They run about 15 calories each.

Welcome! The best advise I can give is be consistent with your logging and true to yourself. It's been addictive and very effective for me so far. Also, use the support system/community of friends for advise and encouragement! Enjoy and feel free to add me as a friend if you're looking for supportive MFP pals.

Thanks friends!

Sorry to hear that! I've been there too and know how it feels. Hopefully it will blow over, and if she's a true friend, it will!

Another Wisconsinite here... It's true that it's tough to avoid sometimes, but I'm trying to at least opt for a burger over a brat! Turkey brats are ok, but pretty dry. There is a local place that makes chicken brats, but seem like they're really loaded with sodium!

Thanks again! Has anyone ever grilled or steamed jalapenos for cutting up in future dishes? Do they only keep if they're pickled or raw?
-
Love the suggestions so far... keep them up! :)

Welcome Kris. MFP is a great place and you'll love it. Feel free to add me for support! Best of luck.
