Instead of telling him when he can come to the gym, why don't you just tell him that you work out much better if you aren't disturbed during the workout and are finding the questions about your workouts demotivating. There seems to be a much better solution than you guys having to work out at separate times.

Btw, don't think of it as humping the bar. Just dragging it up your legs to thigh. I accidentally pulled back a bit at the top of a DL at 185 and got a twinge in my back that has persisted for 2 weeks and made me deload my squats by 35 pounds.

I workout in the morning, usually mostly fasted (I drink coffee with protein powder, almond milk and coconut oil in it). Sometimes I'll have a homemade protein granola bar or a banana, I have had a pop-tart before working out once...lol.

On the SL5x5 android app, Medhi has it to where you can upgrade the app to include a warmup routine too, I use that. Much less volume than the one suggested by the website you posted. I would be exhausted...lol.

Twinged the lower right side of my back on Tuesday of last week (last rep of dead lifts), so Sunday was my first day back lifting heavy again. I don't use a spotter and I've been fine. :) Also, any program you already start before you get pregnant, you can continue into pregnancy. Although I'm sure with slight modifications depending on circumstances of the pregnancy.

Boo. On Tuesday I killed it a little too much. I got a twinge in my back on my very last DL rep. I was hoping the day off yesterday would be enough, but it isn't. Taking the day off today from lifting, since I still have 8 hours of lessons to teach...not like I'm not working out. :/ Hopefully tomorrow I wake up fine.
