Oh man! I needed this today. Thank you!

I needed this today. I KNOW the whole "weight loss is not linear" deal is true. But I had five days of no loss and was getting grumpy about it. A timely reminder. Thanks!

My chiropractor has virtually eliminated my debilitating migraines. I swear by it. If your back pain is an alignment issue it could certainly help. It's worth a try.

My current goal is to get out of the "Obese" catagory and into the "Overweight" zone. Baby steps.

I tend to lose control on the weekend so I weigh in on Monday morning. That way I have more accountability and reason to watch my intake over the weekend.

Every Tuesday right after I wake up.

Nope. I'm giving myself permission to simply enjoy the time with family. I have, however, made the rule thgat anything I eat must be eaten sitting at a table. That will help me avoid mindless grazing at the cheese tray and dessert table.

How fun!! Thanks for the tip. I resolved to get my activity up and this will be a fun incentive!

Dang it. Why did I go look at those camels? My 9 and 5 year old boys are laughing uncontrollably!

I toast a wheat English muffin, add a scrambled egg and cheddar for a breakfast sandwich. It's quick and keeps me full till lunch.

I weigh once a week. My weight can fluctuate by several pounds from day to day and if i see a gain it really bums me out. It's a mental game for me. I find that by weighing once a week I avoid those daily ups and downs and get a broader picture of what's happening.

MFP put me at 1560 but I often eat closer to 1700. I've been on for 2 weeks now and have lost 3 lbs. I am pleased and hope to continue at that pace.

Fish of any kind, but especially those frozen fish sticks my Mom used to serve. Blurg.

My husband's employer offers a discount for participating is healthy lifestyle seminars and routine well-checks. I'd rather incentivise healthy lifestyles than punish unhealthy ones. I know, I know, potato pot-tah-to. But it seems like a more positive, easier to swallow spin.

I just started MFP this Sunday after leaving WW. It's been an adjustment. I'm used to knowing all the points of my frequently eaten foods and just sort of winging it. Actual calorie counts is taking a bit of getting used to, but it's working out. I really like the macros and nutritional information and get excited at the…

I usually eat two eggs for breakfast each morning. Paired with an apple it keeps me full till lunch.

The rice mix would probably fill you up and keep you full longer than the fries. You'd probably also have enough from a bag of rice and a can of sauce to do another helping. So if you're looking purely at a cost effective measure to fill you up, I'd go with the rice.

My Mom and I actually got into a mini fight the other day because she swore up and down that eating after 6 pm will make you fat. She simply would not let it go. "A 200 calorie muffin at 11 pm is still 200 calories at 11 am, Mom!" Nope, she wasn't having it.

Amazing results, 4betterme!! I LOVE seeing real life before and afters as opposed to anything a company publishes. Thank you for posting, that's very motivational!

I usually drink Diet Coke because I prefer the taste, but not during pregnancy. My OB told me that he'd rather see me drinking a glass of wine than a can of Diet Coke. It's an easy enough substitution to make and since I don't like the taste of regular Coke, I just drink less pop during pregnancy by default.

I've noticed my kids will go through stages where they'll eat like a pack of starving wolves one week and then next to nothing another. We offer our kids food and figure they'll eat if they're hungry. We don't force them to clean their plates, just try at least a bite of everything, they're just not allowed to whine and…

We're expecting Baby #4 April 1st, we have a 9, 6 and 2 year old. I had been doing really well with my activity, but lately I've been so exhausted that I've been getting little to no exercise. I can wait till this first trimester is over!

I'm only 6 weeks in and I'm having severe food aversions! So much so that I've almost completely lost my appetite. I love food, I love to eat, I didn't end up on MyFitnessPal cause I have a lot of self-control! I have to force myself to eat just about anything. Yesterday my wonderful husband made cinnamon rolls for…

With my first, I walked around dilated to 4 cm for over a week. She came exactly on her due date and hasn't been on time since.

We had our dog for four years before we had our first. Eight years and two more kids later, we still have him. kalyrra said something that's very important that I want to emphasize. She mentioned training the dog AND the kids. As important as it is to train the dog to behave properly around the baby, when the child gets…

I'm glad you asked this OP, I've been thinking about getting a FitBit and was hesitant due to the price. Can any of you suggest a good Heart Rate Monitor? If those are more accurate, I'd rather spend my money on one of them.

Try to cut yourself some slack. Becoming healthy isn't about "being perfect" on any diet or exercise program. It's making healthy lifestyle habits and putting them into action. I would absolutely call what you did at the restaurant a healthy lifestyle change. Rather than ordering a gigantic portion, you ordered a more…

I've used it to pop my popcorn, it gives it a very subtle flavor. My husband doesn't care for it, but I like it. I have also spread it on toast instead of butter. And if you want an evil treat, melt some chocolate chips with some and then drizzle it on ice cream. It's homemade Magic Shell!

We like Cheese Sticks around here. All fruits and veggies too.

I usually have one or two diet sodas a week. I don't keep them in the house and only have them when I go to the In-law's or a restaurant.
