I also have PCOS...and intense sugar cravings. I'm on Metformin to help regulate my sugar but I refuse to say no to my special dark chocolate. I have a piece or 2 a few times a week or more. And eat tons of fruit. The fruit in itself keeps me from wanting the other sugary junk. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Best of luck :)

I stay away from Aspartame after reading about it, but I do still buy the crystal light packets with Stevia :) Oh and pop is a no-no in my diet...period.

I never eat back my exercise calories, and I still continue to lose. Everyone has their own opinions about eating them back or not. My opinion is you'll lose either way just as long as you eat AT LEAST 1200/day.

We have a 24ft round in our back yard, and I just swim all over keeping my feet off the ground most the time. I know I burn A LOT of calories by swimming just for fun with the kids :)

Thank you everyone!!! I don't do anything special honestly. I haven't done a "real" workout since the kids school let out for summer break nearly a month ago, but I do use our pool several times a week :) and I stay within (for the most part) my doctors suggestion of 1100-1200 calories a day. I also eat everything ;) Some…

I check it on occasion as my doctor has told me to limit my sugar intake, but I'm also on Metformin to help regulate it. When I do check it, yeah I'm almost always over but I don't sweat it because MOST times its from fruit :)

That's awesome!! Congrats on your progress!! I wish I had measured my fat percentage when I first started dieting in January. Is there a site that is approximate or would I have to go to a trainer or something to get it measured?

After I learned to count calories I noticed the drinks I thoroughly enjoyed were PACKED FULL of calories. As part of my new healthy life, I have chose to throw alcohol out completely :) Your not alone!

I use my wii fit balance board as my normal weigh-in scale, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it was only off by 1.1lbs from my doctors scale. I won't go out and buy another scale when its so close to being 'perfect' :)
