I think you may be having trouble figuring out how this site works. You have to check back on a thread in order to see the replies. Also, I am not sure what your questions were. As I scrolled through your profile you seemed to be asking for general help with diet, but it is unclear what your questions were. You can search…

Maybe its time for a *game changer*. Perhaps you should begin to focus more intently on the body fat % segment of your goals rather than over all body weight. This will undoubtedly involve diving into some new habits and understandings that you are likely oh so ready for. Seems like you have come a long way to give up on…

That is great!! Congratulations!!

Do you think that it is possible that the critical voice you use with others is the same that you use with yourself?
-
Yes!!

I'd say dont worry, you will probably be back to normal in no time! dont listen to the mfp computer. your body is smart and telling you to lay off a bit so it can heal. talk to your dr. if you are worried about your appetite interms of your health/recovery, but honestly it sounds totally reasonable. You can make banana…

Alls I can say is dont start "trying" until you are ready. your body may surprise you by how efficient it can be when it comes to procreation. Sounds like your plan is good, cept you might want to take some time pressure off of the weight loss and just loose it when you loose it. So long as it is consistant and with a…

time and gravity will take its toll on everyone. husband included!

it takes a while to get good at this, and you seem really overwhelmed and stressed at the changes you know you need to make. Hang in there! Did you eat breakfast or lunch? you have not put them in your diary, so i wasnt sure. Your body need fuel and sustenance. I suggest: drink some water. put on some sneakers and go for a…

and then there is always this: http://shouldieatmyexercisecalories.com/ such wisdom is rarely found.

I think that is pretty likely. If you are using a HRM to estimate cals, you should read some blogs and threads about how unreliable it is to get a good number if you dont know your VO2 max. Also, i never count cleaning, unless im doing something really above and beyond and very vigorous. I have never felt as physically…

That seems like a lot of working out for the amount of cals you re taking in. You might want to up them for a week and see what happens.
-
Agree! and if you hate the idea of not knowing if your scale is a piece o crap or not, go ahead and get a new one. I thought this might happen to me so I got a new scale right away and it is a bit traumatizing to see things on there that you didnt expect. Dont worry and keep plugging away! What ever number of # you have…

What about yoga? its an awesome dose of strength training that gets your heart rate up. I know a lot of folks who use it to balance and support their running goals.

First off I am no runner. But here goes: I am in the final week of couch to 5k, and that day, W5D3, is really hard. just keep trying it and you will get there. the following week you start back at smaller intervals and work your way back up to 20. Running on the tredmill can be boring and it does not give you as much of a…

i think if you did it outside and separate from your treadmill regimen you would be challenged.

your doctor will tell you that you need a certain % of body fat in order to have a period. you need to figure that out (if you work out at a gym they are trained to take the measurements correctly). http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA53794 this is just an article i found after typing in "body fat and menstruation" if you…

listen buddy. it is not your fault. you have done all that you could to get that job and you are going to keep plugging away at it. It is sad to say but its true: the american dream is a myth. but you can and will get work that you are good at and enjoy. You dont know what that job was really like, and I have found that…

I think i have read some articles online about this. You should google it! Many people train outside in the fair weathered months, and switch to a treadmill in the winter. There are inclina adjustments that can help you make the transition outside. im in week 6 of C25k!! just stick with it and good luck!!

My bf is a programmer and set up my computer to take pics every half hour. This is us watching the Daily Show.

that is soooo awesome!

Ummmm> i'll state the obvious. If you work out you get to eat those calories back. There. I said it. I feel better now. http://shouldieatmyexercisecalories.com/

PLEASE go to a running store and get fitted. At least FIND OUT what type of shoe you should have for your stride and arch. You could really mess up your ankles, feet, knees...etc. if you get the wrong kind of shoe. Its not a brand thing  : each brand makes several types of shoes in your type. You certainly can…

Some options: 1. compost them 2. burn them 3. use it as pesticide 4. make "splenda art"
