I would suggest you weigh your food. Are you measuring your food or just guessing? You may be eating more calories than you think you are. If that doesn't help, see your Dr.

I love skinnytaste and another great one I recently found that does a lot of low cal freezer cooking is skinnymomskitchen.

People here can be mean : ( I'm sorry. You might be better off adding some supportive "friends" on here and asking questions there instead of the open message boards. Feel free to add me!

Are you seeing and Endocrinologist? The "normal" TSH levels have changed over the years and my Dr treated me when my TSH reached 3.0. My symptoms were fatigue and a little weight gain. I eventually had my thyroid removed because of nodules and my TSH went up to 18.0. Now that was horrible. I could hardly move I was so…

What about a little George Foreman grill? Those things are great for cooking all kinds of meats and veggies. Sandwiches and salads are also great options.

Thanks!

Well, I guess what I am looking for doesn't exist  Boy it sure would be handy!

Maybe I need a better food scale. I've tried to weigh ALL the food before, but it won't go up that high usually. Thank you for the reply!

I think I'm pretty good at guessing, but was hoping there was a better way!

Maybe put in an order for something healthy off the menu, but do it before you get hungry or have cravings? Last time I was there, I remember they had a low cal menu or something like that. Or have your meal from home packed and ready to eat as soon as your shift is over. I know how hard it is to make wise choices when the…

To the OP, I am not a Dr, but I have a few family members with Bipolar Disorder. You mentioned you are on an antidepressant , but you didn't mention a mood stabllizer. Being on an antidepressant without a mood stabilizer can cause more harm than good. There are several available now, without all the side effects and risks…

Thank you! I have been wanting to walk, but was scared to. I'll just make sure to take it easy until I hear back from the dr.

I have a Golds Gym treadmill from Walmart that I love. It has 10 incline levels. I only paid about $300, I believe. It's 5 years old and still going strong, no problems.

Kristin, did the Dr clarify what strenuous activity was? I'm wondering if I can at least walk?
-
Thank you all for the replies! I left a message for my Dr this afternoon.

Just FYI...I am under a drs care, I had a thyroidectomy 2 1/2 months ago. I have been cleared to exercise, even run. But, this pain in my heart is new, so I will call the Dr and let her know.

Pudding is not a Phase 1 food and I don't think the bar is either.

Thank you! It's good to know it will get better, I'm trying to be patient.

Anyone?

Good for you! I'm sending you a friend request, I need some of your dedication! : )

I make mine with 93% lean ground beef and a packet of low sodium taco seasoning. The crunchy taco shells you can buy at the grocery store are surprisingly low in calories. Top with low fat cheese , salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, onions etc. You could always use lean ground turkey or boneless skinless chicken breasts.

I am loving the new Peanut Butter Multi Grain Cheerios with skim milk.

I would just guess as best as I could. If you have half the marinade left, I would count 1/8th of the oil. Just guess as best as you can and maybe round up a little bit.

You said you have been cutting back on food? Are you counting calories? Are you taking measurements? If so, and still nothing, I agree call your dr.
