  • Go Bruins!
  • I, too, love my new balance shoes. I didn't get fitted but would like too some day...I got mine from CostCo (or maybe it was Sam's Club) and they were around $50. I love them!
  • I was having these exact same issues my first few weeks. I tweaked my foods a bit to find higher protein and higher energy boosting foods. This helped me tremendously. Also, while I was eating healthier I was spacing it too far apart. I did much better eating smaller more frequent meals and beginning with a substantial…

  • I am the same way...sorta. I've found that I lose very little (or none at all) for 2-3 weeks and then when I'm getting desperate I drop like 6-7 lbs in the 3rd or 4th week. I'm not doing anything different...I know that's no help to you but you aren't an oddball...or if you are I am too!
  • Boo...I mean yay...but boo...I have a thumb ring (tri color rolling ring - so it has three bands) that I had custom made from Mati (Kabana jewelry). It no longer fits (too big) and because it's custom I can't have it resized without paying an arm and a leg...also because it's three bands I can't add in spacers....I love…
  • I agree...I was also very bugged because all she talked about was her..."thank you for giving me this opportunity. This will be a great chance for me to work on my skills,..." etc....It's not about her, or Jillian, or Bob, it's about the contestants and how the trainers can help and motivate them.

  • The only way to really know is to get a HRM
  • cottage cheese! YUMMY!
  • I have used them, but not often and not enough to notice any change in my weight loss. My favorite (of the ones I've tried) is the peach tea.. mmmm yummy! I happen to love regular water, so I only use Mio when I'm desperate for something sweet, or really wanting a soda :)
  • I agree...Can you explain to my simple brain what you did?

  • I had cereal and milk for breakfast, an apple and PB for snack, will have tuna for lunch, some veggies and cheese for pm snack, and flounder (freezer) with veggies for dinner. mmmm I love Fridays :)
  • Is there a Wal-Mart in your area? I've only seen these at Wal-Mart but in the produce section, in the refrigerated area (like where the bagged salads and already cut up fruit it) they have these fruit options (sorry, I don't remember the brand). They have pouches that have various flavors, and also like fruit roll up…
  • I don't like hummus as a dip (like with veggies) or in large amounts, but I love it has a spread on sandwiches and wraps. It adds that extra flavor and moisture that mayo would add, with additional protein and nutrients :)

  • Welcome :) I'm not in Abq, but in Los Lunas. You'll love it here it's a very supportive place to be.
  • Yes, I've lost about 12 lbs in 10 weeks. At the beginning (pre MFP) I wasn't calorie counting...now that I've been using mfp and EA Active 2, it's much better :)
  • I have it, also, and LOVE it! Definitely a work out, and I haven't gotten bored with it yet. It's trainer led and they change up the workouts and muscle groups. I began with the 21 day cardio kick start, spent a few days after that playing with a few other pre programed workouts, and today finished phase 2 of 3 in the 9…
  • if you like bananas and chocolate add a tablespoon of baking cocoa to the banana when you blend it...YUMMY!
  • Yah I was SORE the first few days, if you started with the 3 week cardio kick start it get easier (well you get used to it). I am about half way through the 9 week program and that kicks my butt! Let me know how you like the mountain climbers (when you get there)....they are my worst enemy! As far as the board goes, I got…
  • I had never heard of Post Secret before and spent the last few minutes reading that website you posted. Thank you for sharing. I, too, am a private person. I have been hurt more than once by people I trusted. While I am in awe of the secrets shared, it is not something I would do. The last time I told someone (the love of…
  • I just googled it (realizing there can be mistakes there as well) and an egg white in the top 10 sites is listed as 16-17 calories which would make the mfp entry correct.
  • I had to look it up, but a stone is about 14 lbs, so half a stone is 7 ;)
  • yah, EA Sports Active 2 (and the first, and one called EA Sports Active more workouts - or something like that) is available for the wii (thats what I have). I like it because it has motion sensors and is trainer led, so they tell you what to do, while being able to "tell" if you are doing it right, also has a HRM and…
  • Wii fit is nothing really compared to EA sports active 2 (at least in my eyes).
  • I don't have a group but use EA Sports Active 2...I am in phase 2 of the 9 week program. I started with the cardio kick start and loved it! If enough people are interested we can begin a group.
  • I don't like cottage cheese when it's sweet (with fruit, etc.) so I like have it with pepper (sometimes a tad of salt), on crackers, cucumbers, as dressing on a salad, on baked potatoes, etc....
