How about roasted chicken drumsticks with the skin removed? according to the database 1 drumstick with bone and skin removed would be 76 calories

water retention probably, it should have gone in a few days x

I usually steam them :)

I think the lemon ones are yummy. And if it stops me eating something even worse then what's the harm? sometimes an apple just doesn't hit the spot :) Most "diet" products are full of sugar, the actual Special K cereal is too.

I log everything I EAT but not everything I drink. If I am having say 1 can of diet pop and it comes out at say 2 calories then I wont log it, but if I was going to drink a whole 2 litre bottle over an evening, then I would count it, as it adds up... if that makes sense?? I generally drink water, so I think it isn't making…

Well done Karen :) I am in some size UK 12 "boyfriend jeans" today and even with a belt there is a big gap at the waist, woop Don't think I have lost quite enough to get into a 10 though, I seem to stay at the inbetween stage for ages, lol x

Lol no Probably either Carpentry, or moving furniture would be the closest match.

Hi I turn 30 in July and while I don't have a lot to lose, I really want to have lost it by then. My first wedding anniversary is also 2 weeks after my birthday and then we have a holiday to Spain at the end of August and I want to be confident in my bikini. I am considering changing my goal though, as some weeks I am only…

I used to think I could never live without chinese food, but I didn't have any for about 7 weeks when I first started my new lifestyle and found that when I had a chinese meal I didn't enjoy it all that much. I have had it 4 times now and didnt get that "mmmmm" sensation that I used to get! I thought I was addicted, but I…

I am 10 stone 5.5lb, so we probably burn about the same, give or take 5-10 cals. I was gutted yesterday as I burn 1 calorie less now that I have lost 2lb since I last weighed in on there! haha It amazes me how few calories some of the exercises burn though, particularly the jogging, I think I burned about 25 cals for the…

I go on my Wii fit while watching TV in the evenings, find it goes really quickly I do 2 x 30 mins of "free step" I am not sure how heavy you are, but for me that burns 210 calories, so if I did that and a 20 min free-jog then I would be sorted :)

If you are within your calories and fat for the day then I wouldnt worry about it too much, I often let myself have a small treat like that, it stops me binging :) But if you are only within cals cos you are now going to have to have a pathetic dinner for example, then I would eat the healthy dinner too and try and fit in…

Ratatouille?

Hi I just read your diary and noticed you are breastfeeding? Your body is probably hanging onto a few pounds of fat due to that. I don't think you should put any pressure on yourself until you have completed your breastfeeding

I heard magnesium tablets curb cravings for chocolate, but not tried them I only buy 60%+ dark chocolate, it is hard for me to binge on that as it's so rich.

Dry chicken tikka with salad Or if you really want a sauce, go for a tomato based one e.g Jalfrezi and choose plain steamed rice, not pilau etc Avoid Naan bread. A poppodum is approx 50 cals

I find I eat less for the rest of the day if I have a really good breakfast. I don't mean huge in calories, say 350-400 compared to my normal 200-250 calories. On those days I would have 2 eggs scrambled, 2 rashers of turkey bacon, mushrooms and either toast or beans. But even my normal porridge comes out at over 300 cals…

It all depends on what you prefer. I have an allowance of 1230 cals and have around 250 cals for breakfast, 250-300 for lunch and at least 500 for dinner as I like to eat my biggest meal with my husband in the evening I only usually have one snack a day, its usually the exact same thing and is a 162 calorie dessert that I…

I would go for leftovers too :) personally I love tinned mackerel on toast, especially the spicy tomato one, mmm. Quite high in calories, but very filling and only high in cals cos of the good fats from the fish. Plus its recommened to eat 2 portions oily fish a week. How about getting some of those toastabags and making…

I usually have porridge But sometimes will have an English muffin with scrambled egg and mushrooms, mmm Hubby eats crumpets so occasionally I will have 2 crumpets, with light cheese spread or something, but find that doesn't keep me full for long I love cinnamon and raisin bagels too. Special K with apricots and peach is…

I have 2 adult cats Cassie and Callie, 1 is a tabby moggy and one is a tabby tortie Devon Rex (the ones with curly fur). They are both almost 5. I just got a new black and white kitten today, he is 7 weeks old and as yet is unnamed, I would like C name like the others but can't find a boys name I like, ideas appreciated :)

Youngs do a "light and easy" fish bake Its only 176 cals and quite nice. It is quite often on offer in Morrisons for £1 too I would probably have a pouch of steam fresh veggies with it next time though as it's quite small.

I don't really have a "cheat day" but occasionally I will go over my calories for the day, usually cos I am just REALLY hungry that day, or yes I admit it I couldn't resist a snack while my skinny husband sits and eats cheese laden crumpets at 9pm sat next to me! I still log if I go over even though I hate seeing the red…

1230 But I am not losing weight on it, so may drop my goal to 0.5lb a week, I am confused!

I have been told by a few people that all I ever talk about Facebook is food! My aunt is on there and even told my mum that all I talk about is diet and exercise I am not particularly talking about the calories etc, but more that I am looking forward to eating "xyz" that night, as I have dinner as my largest meal with my…

I like to have Porridge, I get the instant microwave sachets the one that is syrup flavoured I do sometimes get bored of it though and I will buy Special K, my favourite is the Peach and Apricot one. I only buy it when its on special offer though as its too expensive for me, there isn't a stores own equivalent of the Peach…

I am not a big fan of sweet foods but since starting to eat healthier I have found I have more of a sweet tooth than before and am not craving savouries such as crisps (potato chips) like I used to, not sure why that is..... lol Anyway I have also started eating dark chocolate (after hearing the health benefits etc) and I…

I have just been reading the reviews of Jillian Michaels Fitness ultimatum on Amazon and it gets really bad reviews, apparently it doesn't pick up a lot of your movements and its very easy to "cheat" The Biggest Loser gets quite good reviews though. I have Wii fit plus and I like it, but I use it as an additional form of…
