  • I order pasta with a tomato based sauce e.g Arrabiata (no salami etc if they ask) or Penne Broccoli Or if I fancy pizza I go for seafood or a spicy vegetarian one, and only eat half of it They often have sorbet as a dessert option
  • I prefer dark chocolate too and usually buy Green and Blacks (it's actually now owned by Cadbury though) they have 70% and 85% dark, as well as 60% dark with other bits in them like cherries- lovely sour ones, yum! or raisins and hazelnut, amongst others. I also like Lindt dark chocolate with chilli in, not sure if that is…
  • Great change :) Its a shame you chopped the head off your pics though, I always find the biggest change is in the face, both the actual face shape and the change in the happiness expressed on it as you lose weight :) x
  • That's only for Wii Fit plus, the original wii fit doesn't tell you the amount of cals. Best to wear a heart rate monitor, or find the closest activity from the database to what you have done :) e.g for free jogging I would use "running in place"
  • I second the regular copper coil, its been great, don't have to worry about remembering to take a pill or go for an injection, and no weight gain. I was on Microgynon 30 as a teenager and definitely gained weight, I was ravenous and ate loads! Went on it again in my 20's and never gained. but I was careful not to eat…
  • I have a coil, the standard non-hormonal type. The pill/injection etc don't make me gain weight all over, just in my breasts which I don't want as I am already an E/F cup so I was recommended not to have anything with hormones in. The standard coil did make me bleed heavier than normal for the first few months but soon…
  • Well I failed and had chocolate towards the end of week 1, totally forgot about the challenge, was only a couple of squares of good quality dark chocolate, but still!!! I did lose 1lb last week though and 1.5lb this week, so still on track
  • I am not a 9-5 worker but during the school holidays I permanently had my 2 sons here, who can't be trusted to behave when I am not watching them constantly, so from 7am-5pm (when hubby gets home) exercise was basically out, apart from if we went for a walk/bike ride So I would go to Zumba classes or aerobic classes 2-3…
  • I sometimes use an at home teeth bleaching kit. If I use it in the evenings, there is no way I can eat with it in, haha
  • Lean Beef Spaghetti Bolognese ( measure out your pasta, let the boys have more) Lean beef or turkey mince cottage pie with lots of veg A tomato based chicken or prawn curry with plain steamed rice I agree with Fajitas, we all love them here A Roast dinner? make your roast potatoes in the oven with spray oil and remove…
  • Once a week, Thursdays at 5.45pm at my Rosemary Conley class, in a long-tee, leggings and my trainers. I do have scales at home and obviously way less naked and first thing in the morning, but I want my logged weight to be under the same circumstances every week so its accurate. After my holiday I had gained 5lb and was…
  • Usually dinner, as I like to cook something nice to eat with my husband. Generally anywhere from 450 right up to 700. My breakfast and lunch are usually about the 300 mark each, but if I am planning something like mackerel on toast for lunch, I will have a smaller breakfast (25g of porridge rather than 2 slices of seeded…
  • I either use a tsp of jam or golden syrup, sometimes honey Last week I tried a tsp of Nutella, wasn't bad actually I buy the cheapest oatmeal there is, the microwavable sachets don't keep you as full for long, as they have been processed somehow
  • I am in too :) going to set mine as 0.5lb a week though as I "was" at goal weight til last week, when I gained 2.5lb on holiday, but a further 4.5lb loss will put me at a perfect BMI of 22 Location: Cumbria I like: Reading, X factor, eating out especially latin american and tapas I don't like: Sports on TV especially…
  • oops double post
  • It's one of the lower calorie options, if you search it in the diary I think its about 180 cals a cup? In all the "dieters" eating out guides I have looked at, hot and sour soup is recommended as a starter. I love it too, but prefer it when its thicker and more like a meal (only one local chinese makes it this way, the…
  • I get this too. I sometimes have to say no to my kids to things they like because I need that £2.50 for that nights Zumba class and I do feel bad, but I NEED my Zumba class more than they need a particular brand of cereal or some cheesestrings etc. Also if your kids are anything like mine, the stuff they want/are used to…
  • I am in the UK too, most of the pain killers that say "plus" in the name tend to have caffeine in them if you wanted to try that route, but I would prefer to have tea as also don't like taking tablets often.
  • Good luck. I am not a big Pepsi/Coke drinker usually but while in Spain it was the only diet soda that was available at my all-inclusive hotel so I drank a fair amount of it. Haven't had any since Saturday and I still feel awful
  • Ooops I must have been getting confused with alcohol... :)
  • Yes you will still lose, but you are less likely to feel satisfied by what you eat 1g of fat= 7 calories 1g of Protein or Carbs- 4 calories So it would make more sense to fill up on lower fat items, with the same calories, as you get more for them :)
  • I am off to Spain this week too and am planning on lots of swimming and walking, plus making sensible choices at meal-times. I may not lose weight on holiday, but I am hoping to at least maintain :)
  • I am off to Spain on Saturday myself. A lot of restaurants/cafes in Spain tend to be ran by English families and have a very british menu available, so you will probably find it easy to find an old favourite. As for the spanish food, there are lots of amazing fish restaurants, not sure where exactly you are going but I…
  • Just read this again, I actually think Beyonce is just perfect. Curvy shape, yet slim and toned, with good muscle tone
  • That's the same as me if you see my earlier post :) From 38E to 36 E/F
  • Calista Flockhart
  • When I have lost weight before, my breast size hasn't changed. But this time round it has, I think it may be due to the fact that I exercise now, rather than just diet like in the past, so my whole shape has changed. I was a 38E when I joined and after about 10lb lost I noticed I wasn't filling the cups properly so started…
  • In terms of taste, there are things I don't like but I wouldn't call then an aversion as I don't get stressed around them etc. I don't like garden peas and once cried at a family dinner in a restaurant because I had asked for "no peas" and it came with them on it. I was only 12 at the time though :) Not keen on parsnips,…
  • Do you get an in-flight meal included? A lot of airlines offer a healthy option meal now, as I have heard the average in-flight meal comes in around 1000 calories, and the portions are hardly huge (or haven't been on any I have been on) and so 1000 calories isn't jusifiable to me for what you get! we have chosen not to…
