  • So I"ve been doing Insanity and many times my TImex HRM would say I was burning 1000 plus calories. I recently purchased a Polar FT7 HRM and it said I burn about 500 calories. Go figure! I'll go with the Polar reading as I really feel like my TImex is way off and burn avg of 500 calories per Insanity workout is common

  • The one day i did Insanity I burned 1259 cals. Some burn more and others, like me burn more, verages seems to be about 500-600

  • Well Im not changing much but the intensity. I already do interval training 5x a week. This is just more intense. I burn a good amount of calories then also. Today's calorie burn just really caught me off guard but I love it!Thanks
  • I'm 5'2 and my goal weight is 155 but I'm also contemplating 140. I want meat on my bones. I don't wanna be frail and thin. i still want a shape. Just wanna be nice and toned. limited jiggle. fit into a size 6/8. i think that'll be perfect size for me

  • you are definately not eating enough to be doing such an intense workout. you will not see much result because you body will hold on to EVERYTHING in order to fuel itself for the workout
  • It depends on your intensity. I never really hungry after my workout but ive conditioned myself to eat after so much intensity as post workout nutrition is jsut as important. so i have my post work out smoothie. filled woth protein, carbs, and healthy fats. but i also workout at 6 am on an empty stomach.
  • i go to a 45 mins boot camp 5 times a week. Sometimes we go the entire 45 mins and others its 30 mins but i always burn 700 calories or more. Most times i burn over 800 with my max being 930. So no its not too much. I also use a HRM so i know this is true.

  • I found that having a protein shake or smoothie helped my soreness. Protein is muscle food. One day after adding a shake i was no longer sore. Try it
