I did that yesterday just to get 20 mins of exercise in :D I didn't know I was going to go bowling. But I figure if I can't get outside then I might as well do it indoors. :D

Did I exercise for 20 mins ? Yes, my dogs thought I was crazy because I walked around my living room at a fast pace like a lunatic, then I went bowling for 2 hours. I've almost got my 10K steps in for the day. Should have it completed before midnight. Did I stay within my calorie budget? Yes! Track? Yes. AM I TIRED? Heck…

I'm with you guys! I need to lose about 70 or so to feel better and healthier, I've done this before and I was successful until I broke my leg in three places, then I started school and everything that I had worked so hard for I had given up on. Add me! We can all do this together! :)

@craigo3154 so when I am doing my weigh in for the first week then it is my current weight right? What I actually weigh on Saturday? Not my preweight prior to starting the challenge right? I know when we first said we wanted to start the challenge we gave our weight then. I'm just making sure I do it right plus…

@craigo3154 , how does this work? So I see we weigh in on Sunday right? So right now my CW is 238.6 or it was on Sat. So it says weekly weigh in. So we need to post results by the Sat? I have gotten myself confused when trying to look over things. Sometimes I need people to draw me a picture  I think I seen you was…

@BB_1033, I'm sorry that you are struggling too, I've had a hard time here lately. I want you to know that you aren't alone and that if you need someone to talk to then I'm here. I hope you start feeling better soon. <3

I am so excited to be starting with you guys. A little bit about me, I'm 44 and married to a police officer, I'm a mom to 4 kids, my oldest one just graduated with a Bachelors with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in sport psychology. (he's going to be setting me up with a plan that will help me, he doesn't know it yet,…

I'm officially middle age! I will be 45 in August! Feel free to add me!

I've been on MFP since 2015, I broke my leg, ended up non-weight bearing for 4 months, gained weight. Then my Father-in-law passed away in 2016, I started school in 2017 and I am in my third semester of RN school. I need to get healthy again for me. I need to do it for the patients that I am going to take care of. I need…

Also if I change my exercise from 3x per week for 60 mins to 5x per week for 60 mins, it does nothing to the calories. They remain the same even though I've increased the amount of exercise on MFP

It's when I eat very early in the morning that totally throws me off. If I eat around noonish or so then I feel like I am ok but I was at the gym at 10:30 yesterday morning and I ate a 200 calorie protein bar. It had 20 grams of protein. I thought I would feel fuller a little bit longer but maybe I need to eat the bar…

Feel free to add me! I'm 245 pounds at 5'6" and I have NEVER been this size. I attribute a lot of it to being in school (I'm 42 and started school again last year) so I tend to sit, study and snack. I am also in surgically induced menopause which makes weight loss even harder. I can use all the motivation I can get and I…

If I don't work out in the morning then I will put it off until bedtime and then I will just refuse to do it, I will put it off until the next day. Starts a really bad pattern for me.

I have a few reasons, I want to drop the high cholesterol. There is a huge heart history in my family and I am 42 and my mom had open heart surgery in her 50's. My daughter graduates in May and I want to look really good for photo's, I want her to be proud to call me her mom (she's always been proud but I WANT to feel good…

Hi and welcome! I am returning student and a mom, I also carry many different titles as well that comes along with parenting (lol) When I went back to school in January things started to spiral out of control. I was stressed out with Statistics, I hated that class and I compensated by eating blow pops. There are 70…

You are losing weight WAY too quickly. This is coming from someone who dropped 60 pounds in a very short amount of time has now gained back the 60 plus an additional 40. I was down to 130ish, I'm back at the 230ish club. It was not healthy for me, my body went into starvation mode. So when it is coming off that quick it's…

Today I went outside and decided to work out that way, there is hills and such. I worked out for 76 minutes and the Polar said 616 while the fitbit said 1009. The treadclimber show the intensity. Which one would you attempt to use with today's measurements? I was hot, sweaty and all those things that could throw it off. It…

I had used one at the gym in the past and I thought Wow, how great. So when I seen a infomercial about it I told my husband I just had to have it. I promised that I would use it everyday.. Yeah, right. He bought it and well needless to say, it's been an overpriced coat rack. Now I am back to using it and some days, I hate…

To be honest, I haven't used it like I should have. Before my aunt passed away I had lost about 18 pounds in 2 months. Then I gained it all back and then some. I've not eaten back my calories, I didn't do it then either. I think I probably should eat some of them back though. But I did lose the weight. I'm just conflicted…

Ugh, I hate when I post the wrong thing, I use it at a steady pace and my HR gets up to around 160

I am using the Polar Beat app. I just want to find something accurate that will truly tell me, I thought this was the way to go.
-
I would also run 5 miles per day when I lost the 30 pounds over 3 months
